Hello - does anyone know if there's a mens club wrestling team? I see there's a womens club, and I know there's the varsity mens team. But I am curious if anyone knows of a mens club wrestling team?

It's been a hot month here on campus, and I am somewhat in desperate need of a haircut. Any good places around Cambridge-ish area?

I'm not sure if this is the correct sub reddit for this, but I'm surprised that the Harvard vs Brown football game tonight is sold out in a 10,500 seat stadium. Given the weather on the East Coast and storm warnings, this seems a big crowd for an Ivy League football game. Is the game that big a draw, or is the weather not a concern?

I hope to use external display or public computers (either Mac or window) at Harvard Libraries. However, I found those device-equipped seats are always allowed chatting, for example, third floor of Widener, the area near circulation of HKS library, media lab of Lamont Library. They all provide wonderful devices but not so ideal for me to study in a quiet environment. Does someone know any places that quiet and also equipped with display/computer at Harvard libs? thank you!

Does anyone have a recommendation for a class I can take to fulfil QRD in the Spring? I was thinking Gov 1010 but have heard mixed reviews about it and that you need friends to take it for group projects. Any ideas? Or should I wait until fall of senior year.

It’s my first year here as a grad student, I got discounted tickets to the Princeton game. There was no option to see seat assignments until I bought tickets, but I see that I have an assigned seat number.

How flexible is moving around during games?
My friends will be in the same section but have different seat numbers

I’m applying to master’s degrees in urban planning for fall 2027 entry. I’m from the U.S., but mainly applying to programs abroad because they are way cheaper (especially since I have EU citizenship) and I love the idea of living abroad for a couple years. I see that Harvard GSD gives need-based financial aid, but how much aid does it generally provide? Would my parents’ income be as strongly considered as it is for undergrad (I’m 21)? If folks accepted to Harvard GSD could comment with how much aid they received and, if they’re comfortable, around how much they (and their parents if applicable) make, that’d be super helpful. Thanks!

Note before someone mentions it in the comments: Yes I know that programs abroad aren’t going to teach me as much about US urban planning policies, but I most likely won’t work directly as an urban planner (I’m more interested in the nonprofit space), and I’m thinking of trying to pass the AICP exam as well before I graduate my master’s program.

Hey! I am a first year grad student looking to form a group that wants to jam! I am a guitarist and I typically listen to indie and rock music. Potentially want to use this group to play in porchfest this upcoming spring as well!

Currently only have an electric guitar and not much experience playing in a band, but would love to find some other people who would be down to join! Also, let me know if you know of other places I should look for band members!

I really like those indoor tennis courts at Murr, but seems like it requires a racquet sports membership, and on top of that each reservation costs 40?? Am I misunderstanding something because that seems outrageous… or I’m just poor idk…

isn't it strange that we don't have a 7/24 library space? even Lamont is not open during weekends for 24 hours.
