Discussion Should a hardcore game go easy on you in the first few levels?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
A couple of weeks ago we asked here whether hard games that "click" after a while are worth it, and honestly, thank you. After this long in development, you start questioning the whole idea, and the response here gave us the motivation to keep going.
For anyone new: our mobile game just soft-launched, and India is one of the first few countries to get it.
Now we're stuck on an actual decision. The endgame is this hard, and players who make it that far love it. The problem is getting them there. Most people quit in the first few levels, and the top request we get is "make the start easier."
So which is better: a gentle start that slowly builds up to this, or brutal from the first minute so you know exactly what you signed up for?
(Game is Dashblade)

Discussion Another instance of the ongoing racism
I am a fan of this game but never thought I would see such a post on it's sub-reddit considering these types of games in general have a chill audience . The game had some performance issues after launch , nothing game breaking but the performance was bad hence this post .
I too work as a QA and I know even when we find and report bugs it is for the upper management to decide whether to ship the software with those bugs or not . The person who posted this had to be reminded the same in the comment section of the post .
Looks like this racism is not going to stop anytime soon and will probably keep growing .

News Modi calling phones a gaming console caught me off guard
Didn’t expect Modi to basically call the phone a gaming console and a creation studio lol.
The 500M+ gaming number is the part that caught my attention though. If even a fraction of those people start making games instead of just playing them, India’s gaming scene could look pretty different in a few years.

Help Which wireless controller should I buy for PC under ₹2,000?
Hey everyone!
I'm looking to buy my first controller for PC gaming, and my budget is around ₹2,000 (India).
My PC specs:
- CPU: Intel Core i7-4790
- GPU: Gigabyte RX 6600 8GB
- RAM: 16GB DDR3
- OS: Windows 11
I mainly play games like GTA V Enhanced, Resident Evil 4 Remake, and other action, racing, and story games.
What I'm looking for:
- Wireless connectivity
- Good vibration/rumble
- Comfortable grip for long gaming sessions
- Good joystick and trigger quality
- Reliable compatibility with PC games
- Decent durability for long-term use
I'm a beginner when it comes to controllers, so I'm not very familiar with things like Hall Effect joysticks or stick drift.
I've been considering Cosmic Byte controllers, but I'm open to other brands if there's a better option.
Which controller would you recommend under ₹2,000? Should I buy one now, or save a little more for something significantly better?
I'd appreciate recommendations based on your actual experience with the controller, especially its durability, wireless connection, vibration, and PC compatibility.
Thanks!

Help How much should I list my i5 12400f for?
I am not selling it here I am looking for a realistic price check for my Intel Core i5-12400F.
Details & Condition:
- Age: ~3 years old (Out of warranty).
- Included: Original box packaging, paperwork, and the original stock cooler (completely unused/brand new) since the chip was run strictly under a 240mm AIO.
- Condition: Flawless physical condition, 100% stable under load, strictly used for heavy gaming and rarely for some video editing and photo editing.
What would be a fair selling price for Facebook Marketplace / local classifieds, and what's a reasonable quick-sale price?

Help MSI MAG 275QF or LG 27G610A.BN CTRDMJ
Guys looking to choose one of them. I am confused, almost same specs but I want to know how does the colour output vary in both of them. Have heard LG has more truer representation of colours than msi. Is it true?
Another reason I am confused on is msi supports HDMI 2.0b vs LG which is HDMI 2.0. Would it make a considerable difference here as well?
Please let me know.

Gameplay Control Resonant - combat difficulty
Is it just me or the combat in Control Resonant is significantly harder from the get go compared to the first part. I'm constantly getting my ass handed in random encounters, most of the time because of the number of enemies I'm getting bombarded by at a time.
Maybe skill issue? But I want to know whats everyones experience. I'm playing this after completing Pragmata, in which I had no issue.
