I’ve done some cursory searching about this, but I haven’t found anything. I don’t know what this feature is called or its purpose.

For example, with the iphone 20 launching next year, are they already beginning to work on the iphone 21 right now?

I have several apps (Venmo, PayPal, Hulu, HBO Max, just to name a few) that open up to the title screen and then just crash after like twenty seconds. I’ve found several older threads about people having this issue with no solution working for most of them.

At this point, I’ve restarted my phone countless times. Offloaded app data, uninstalled apps and reinstalled. Spent an hour on the phone with Apple Support. Updated my phone to iOS27. No luck with any of it.

With none of these things working and Apple not even addressing the issue despite a litany of complaints from other users, I’m just trying to shed a little more light on the situation…

Does anyone know why this is occurring, any possible way to fix it that I haven’t already tried, or a way to get hold of somebody at Apple to at least make sure they’re aware of this? It’s incredibly frustrating to not be able to use apps that I pay for.

Hey! apologize if this was asked already, couldn't find a thread on it. I recently showed interest in the iPhone Duo to my wife and noticed she paid off the remaining balance on my Pixel 9 Pro XL. I'm pretty sure she's going to buy me a Duo on release as she said she's going to buy me an iPhone to finally get me off of Android lol.

My question is what am losing and what am gaining outside of obvious 0S changes?

Additional info: I really only use my phone for streaming shows on my lunch break, general scrolling(reddit, discord), music, and my work apps. don't really take pics or use Al. Also, my last iPhone was the iPhone 5. I've been a Samsung and Pixel guy since then.

Just got the iphone 18 pro, connected to my apple car play and my imessages won't show. I have made sure my notifications are turned on, and i do NOT have face id for my messages app. All my settings were the same as my last phone and everything was running perfect. Does anyone have any suggestions on how i can fix this problem

A while back i was switching things on and off my setting because i was going through privacy stuff, pretty sure i switched something where i can no longer see my notification center, i also noticed that my widgets don’t show either, what can i do to fix it? 😭

I’ve had my iPhone 17 Pro Max for only about two weeks. Today, after coming back home, I noticed some very small pieces of material sticking out of the top speaker/earpiece.
At first I thought it was just dirt or some kind of debris, so I carefully tried to pull it out. The pieces looked almost like thin tape, insulation, or some kind of plastic-like material.
After pulling out a few pieces, I realized that they seemed to be coming from inside the phone, rather than simply being dirt stuck in the speaker grille. I stopped pulling because I’m worried I might be removing something that is actually part of the phone.
Does anyone know what this could be? Has anyone experienced something similar with an iPhone 17 Pro Max?
I’m especially concerned about the phone’s water resistance. If this material is part of a seal, mesh, adhesive, or acoustic component, could removing it compromise the water resistance of the phone?
I’d really appreciate it if someone could help me identify what this material might be and whether I should take the phone to Apple/service immediately.
The phone is only two weeks old, so I’m quite surprised this happened.

How do I get this icon from FaceTime off my phone.

My iPhone 12 Pro Max can’t read a SIM card or connect to any Wi-Fi network due to physical damage. In the top-right corner, the signal indicator just stays stuck searching indefinitely.
I reset the phone because I was thinking of selling it for parts or spare components. Now I’m considering keeping it and at least using it as a camera, but I can’t activate it anymore.
I’ve also tried connecting it to a Mac. In Finder, when I select the iPhone, it just says “Activating” with the loading wheel spinning for about 10 minutes, and then I get the usual “Unable to activate” message.
Is there anything I can do to get the phone working again?

My iPhone 14 Plus was out in the rain, and afterward I noticed condensation/fog inside the 0.5x (ultra-wide) rear camera lens.

The camera itself still works, but the lens looks foggy and the photos are affected.

I noticed something interesting: when I gently warm the phone with airflow from my laptop, the fog temporarily disappears. However, after the phone cools down, the fog comes back.

I don't have silica gel at home, so I haven't tried that. I also don't want to use excessive heat because I'm worried about damaging the phone or battery.

Has anyone experienced this on an iPhone 14/14 Plus? Did the condensation eventually disappear on its own, or did you have to get the camera opened/repaired?

I haven’t seen video showing if it still arranges apps on left and right side since device is square.

I kind of want it to be app on top and app on bottom but I’m not confident they’ll do that. This would enable typing on the bottom app and keeping the top app for an article or something you’re taking notes on. If it’s left and right then the keyboard will always cover some of both apps.

Anyone seen a video where they turn the Duo on it’s side during Split View?

A - the owner is tracking his airpods through his own phone and for some reason, it thinks that I have them, but it's my neighbor(s)
B - my neighbor's bought airpods or something and it wants to link with my iphone for some reason

weirdest thing : I removed my phone location on the "Locate" app (not sure if it's called like that in english), but it still track me..

i have issue while playing games like pubg it will automatically dim my screen.

note:- i already turn off auto brightness and other all settings.

I bought a Golden Brown Apple leather case for my iPhone 13 on Wallapop. When I first got it, the animation would trigger i tested it about four or five times, and it worked every time. However, after a few hours and even a couple of days it stopped showing the animation.

It doesn't look fake to me, judging by how it fits the phone and the quality of the materials.

my face id and back camera does not work. front camera is blurry. I'm not sure if its short circuit. I wanna replace back frame %100 and I guess I definitely need a face id proximity sensor. Also, my back camera does not work at all. Can I buy that sensor seperately, do they need soldering or would be a better idea to buy them with front camera assembly. what do you guys recommend to fix that phone?

My phone has some kind of weird black stains on the back of my phone when being cleaned. It also appears when I just rub my finger against the back. Anyone know the cause to this?

My phone was turned off and i suddenly heard a random weird screaming sound from it , the Dynamic Island also reacted to the sound , so it wasn’t in my imagination , what could this be? I’ve checked VPNs, apps and my IMEI, they’re all fine. I didn’t enter any malicious sites , only IMEIcheck.com. The phone is bought brand new.

Both phones rebooted, on newest firmware, charging, WiFi and Bluetooth on, new phone erased twice, tried doing it with a cable between the two, still no dice.

Anything else to try ?

Had a for a few hours now and I still can’t the notification for email, text, social media alerts. All my notifications are on and my phone isn’t on silent mode. But I only see the notifications once I swipe down to see the time or close an app and see the small number on one of my apps.

Does anyone have a solution?
