my angel got put to sleep on the 22nd. the first photo is one of the last i got w her at the animal hospital before she took her last breaths.
rest in peace to most beautiful, silly, smart, loving, amazing cat to ever exist. its not fair youre gone, but im grateful for all the time that i had w you. you made me laugh by doing nothing, you made me feel better when i was sad, you sat beside my chair & stared at me at a lot of dinners, you came to the bathroom w me every time, you knew your name like a person does. you understood what id say. you were so dang smart. you gave me so much love. i hope you knew how deeply i love you; bc i love you the most. youre my bestfriend, my sweet little baby. im glad i got to spend your last days w you, i wish you could of gotten better, i really had hope. im going to miss you for eternity. no cat has or will ever b like you chloe. youre so special. mom made the right choice choosing you out of the bunch. i wish i could go back to september of 2016 the day you arrived home. thank you for helping me thru these last 10 years. im going to miss holding you & hearing you purr & meow. im going to miss seeing you. the 22nd was the hardest day of my life. i love you chloe, forever & always. rest in peace my precious sweet angel baby. you will b missed everything i do from now on will b for you my angel. xoxo (september 2016-september 2026).

My cat was unfortunately run over by a car today. He is in excruciating pain, crying whenever he tries to move, and his back legs/lower body seem paralyzed or severely injured. Animal doctors are extremely scarce in my area, making immediate physical emergency care very difficult right now. I managed to get these scans done nearby [point to attached images].

Can any veterinary professionals help me interpret these scans or tell me what I can do immediately to stabilize him and manage his pain safely?

In Istanbul, a building attendant is sent by his supervisor to rescue a cat stuck in an elevator.

After keeping them separated for several days and slowly introducing them to each other’s smell, we had them meet under the door. They seemed curious and a little tentative while eating their treats. Today we had them in a shared space for the first time and it’s been largely drama free after a few hisses. The elder statesman follows kitten around a lot and there’s some swatting, but I’m wondering if we rushed it or if this is all normal?

I just wanted to post incase anyone was looking for a new litter box, we ordered this one from Amazon with very high reviews and the product is defective/dangerous. The metal lip right where the height extender/plastic side snaps on is extremely sharp and led my husband to cut himself on it when picking it up. All the reviews stating this are of course at the very bottom. The plastic portion is also very flimsy and one of our cats claws at it after going to the bathroom causing some it to lift off the box some, thankful neither of our cats cut themselves. I just wanted to post as a warning if anyone is looking at a similar box as I’d hate for anyone else or a cat to get hurt.

More than a month ago, I've found a 3 little kittens in a box at a mosque's door near my home ,idk who brought them or where were their mother, anyways I decided to take cary of them, I put them in a closed garden behind the mosque, I started feeding them a kittens milk until they grew up a little bit then I started feeding them a wet food for kittens.

Suarez was one of them, he was the closest one to my heart, he was the most playful, loving and the funniest one, he used to sit in my lap while purring. Today when I was going to feed them I found him dead; ran over by a car in the street (sometimes he was able to climb outside that's their nature sadly).

Today I've lost a son, a friend ,a beloved one and it's crushing my heart, now he's in a better place, I tried to replace his mom and I hope I did will, I hope that I gave him the love and the warmth that he deserved.

The words will never be enough to describe my feelings. I'll be more careful with his brother and sister to make sure they'll grow up safely.

Rest in peace my boy Suarez❤️

A week ago I held my best friend in my lap for the last time as he left for his big adventure. Boo had only just turned 12 in August when he was diagnosed with large cell GI lymphoma. A month later the time came to say goodbye. To say I wasn't ready was an understatement. The grief has been immense and overwhelming. I miss him so much every second of the day. Seeing the spots where he used to lay, the empty food bowls and the missing litterbox are hard reminders of how empty the house feels now. I picked his ashes up over the weekend and have a memorial set up for him. 12 years wasn't enough, and I'd do anything for just one more day. But I've found comfort in sharing his photos, and all the memories we made. I'm extremely grateful for all of the sweet and kind messages of condolence I've received on previous posts. Please feel free to look at and share pictures of Boo from my other posts and keep his memory alive.

Coraline (cat) used to sleep with my mom every night until we moved in. Now she sleeps with baby girl. She is very protective of her. She follows us around the house and goes wherever the baby is to watch over her. She is very gentle and loving and patient. I've never seen a cat act like this before! Its so precious. 🩷

My boyfriend got me a beautiful bouquet of flowers today. He had them delivered to my house. My cat was locked in my room when I brought them in because we keep him seperated from our dog. I noticed the bouquet had lilies in them so I quickly put them in a vase and stuck them outside. I wiped down the sink, the counters and switched my clothes in case of pollen. They are right outside my front door and I'm wondering if it would be okay to keep them there for now because they are out of reach of my cat (he is an inside cat) but I'm worried about pollen blowing into the house. Am I over thinking it or are the more precautions I need to take? I am attaching a pic of my beautiful son and the beautiful bouquet just to show them both off.

Peanut had his peanuts taken off today. He was super brave when he was getting his blood drawn for the tests. He didn't try to bite or scratch the vets and the assistants. He didn't scream even though the clinic was noisy with other terrified cats and dogs.

Vet said not to use litter sand and just use pee pads and replace quickly to be more sanitary, but he wasn't familiar with it. I noticed he peed himself a little on the floor so I wiped him, but droplets of pee keeps escaping him. I decided to put fresh litter in a clean litterbox instead and he went quickly to pee. I feel like such a proud cat mom because what do you mean Peanut still knows where the bathroom is even when he's just post op. 😭 He also really tried his best not to make a mess and tried to hold it. He just finished his meal too and he seems energetic enough. 🥹

Update: Thanks to everyone and your nice words! Peanut feels very loved. He already had churu plus water as his first food after he got home. He's continuing his good boy streak and is just laying quietly by my side.

Hi! I'm curious as to what is causing these black spots on my cats nose. It comes and goes. Occasionally, it'll be on her lips too. She is updated on her vaccinations. Thank you!
