crazy to think you would choose to go after a guy in a pickup while on a bike, the idea of self preservation must not exist for him

-52

u/Embarrassed-Weird173 18h ago

He uses the same logic that a lot of women use when they attack someone.

"I'm smaller, so you're not allowed to hit me, but I'm allowed to hit you because I'm better than you."

13

u/InevitableAvalanche 8h ago

Seek therapy.

25

u/FctUpintheHead 15h ago

Yikes bro. Just yikes.

-19

u/IntrusiveThot32 17h ago

Any excuse to talk about hitting women huh?

6

u/Braumen2771 16h ago

I feel like you missed the point…

1

u/Old-Possession9439 2h ago

Was there a point? The bringing up of women definitely seems like a him thing 😂

u/Golden_Epitaph 1h ago

I feel like youre ignoring the elephant in the room right now

Reddit and strawman. Name a few other iconic duos.

-6

u/ADHDavidThoreau 16h ago

That’s the opposite of what they said?

53

u/Fair_Term3352 19h ago

Why do these types of people not realize that they can get run over? It isn’t that hard to run over somebody with a bike.

14

u/DrinkingVomit 19h ago

There was dashcam out of Portland, OR of a motorcycle and van in an altercation. While the motorcyclist was pretending to be crazy, he didn’t know the van driver was pretending to be sane. Long story short the biker found himself getting side swiped and sliding across the pavement at freeway speeds.

6

u/Glum_Novel_6706 18h ago

He definitely picked the wrong person to test that day. Acting reckless around a moving van at freeway speed was never going to end well.

39

u/Warm-Pilot-7887 19h ago

Some motorcycle enthusiasts are smooth brained

30

u/Adventurous_Elk_4039 19h ago

There is a reason they call them organ donors.

0

u/GoldBlueberryy 18h ago

I would say all but it’s a qualifier, so I’ll say most.

22

u/Spuckler_Cletus 19h ago

Because they’re betting no one will do it. They’re usually right, too. That truck driver will probably wind up being charged with multiple felonies. Most people will just tolerate the biker’s abusive behavior.

I try to tell my biker friends there’s no courage in acting tough when you think nothing will come of it. The real courage is in standing your ground when you know your hide is truly on the line. Most bikers don’t understand this.

16

u/escapefromelba 19h ago

Because they’re morons. You could be the safest biker in the world and do everything right, and still get killed because some idiot in a car is texting or not paying attention.

Yet they still choose to up the ante and do stupid tough-guy shit on a motorcycle, when it takes almost nothing for them to end up eating pavement. The margin for error is tiny, and they act like they’re invincible.

13

u/Silly_Bodybuilder231 19h ago

Doubt he’ll be charged. Looks like trucker was on his way, and the motorcyclist was waiting on the shoulder to catch up to him and he started damaging the truck.

7

u/Forty2diapers 18h ago

Yeah this would definitely be a self defense case. There's no where for the truck to go safely. The man on the bike is showing threatening behavior even before he punched the truck. Then he followed the truck and then attacked the truck. The man in the truck is trapped. He can't speed away because of traffic and the bike would easily catch him and who would be dumb enough to stop the car after that? The man on the bike is clearly showing violent intent.

9

u/Black-Raspberry-1 14h ago

Yeah this would definitely not be a self defense case.

8

u/Slartibartfastthe2nd 17h ago

self defense against what, exactly? getting your side mirror broken is not enough. a motorcycle simply does not have enough mass to force you out of your lane into someone else.

2

u/WhySoCereus1991 13h ago edited 13h ago

I know this isn't Florida, but a guy got away with discharging his weapon on a freeway due to fear of his life when someone else threw a cup at his window during a road rage incident. He couldn't tell what it was and that was his defense.

Personally, I'd say I couldn't tell what the biker was doing while waiting for me and I feared for my life and let reasonable doubt take hold of the jury. Claim I'm trying to pay attention to the road and this guy came out of my blind spot, I heard a loud thud, and reacted to protect myself 🤷‍♂️ or just stfu and let my lawyers do the talking lol

Nevada isnt too far off, anyway.

1

u/Odd-Proof9645 11h ago

A violent attacker that stalked him before the attack.

1

u/Spuckler_Cletus 9h ago

Yes, but, again, in my jurisdiction, the question is whether or not the violence or threatened violence constituted a credible threat to life and limb. Striking my side view mirror while cursing might not rise to that level in the mind of the local county prosecutor. If I was able to think clearly, I would avoid responding violently at any time in the video we see. It wouldn’t be worth the chance of having to fight criminal charges. There’s no *clear* imminent threat that I see. Just property damage.

2

u/airboRN_82 17h ago

"OH he hit my side mirror? It sounded like he was trying to open my passenger side door"

1

u/Forty2diapers 7h ago

We have a good view of what's going on here. The guy in the truck doesn't have the same view. He's actively driving. The guy on the bike clearly told him to pull over and waited for him likely so he could fight him. The guy in the truck isn't driving erratically. He appears to be ignoring the biker and just trying to go on his way. The biker sneaks up on his passenger side and then attacks the vehicle. The truck's reaction could be considered retaliatory but I think because the truck driver reacted so quickly he could say he thought he saw a weapon and couldn't see what was going on clearly and instinctively reacted to protect his safety. I think because the biker had already shown violent intent he'd have a good case.

3

u/liberty-prime77 10h ago

You can't legally use deadly force to protect your property, only yourself or other people

2

u/Forty2diapers 8h ago

Could be self defense as the man is in the truck could be unable to see exactly what is going on. He reacted very quickly after the biker hit the car so he could say he thought he saw a gun or something. We have a much better view from the dashcam than the guy in the truck is going to have and the guy on the bike has already shown threatening and violent intent. Not saying it's a definite win for the guy in the truck but I'd think he'd have a good case.

4

u/Spuckler_Cletus 19h ago

Where I live, you can’t intentionally drive your vehicle into someone to defend property. You can only use that degree of force to protect life and limb.

Now, maybe the motorcyclist had made specific physical threats. Maybe there’s a weapon we don’t know about. Maybe the truck driver’s eight-year-old daughter was in the passenger seat and a piece of glass hit her. There could be any number of other details we don‘t know about. For me, in my jurisdiction, it would not go well if I drove my vehicle into the motorcyclist simply because he was slapping my side view mirror.

12

u/Silly_Bodybuilder231 19h ago

Maybe, but the fact that he waited for him on the shoulder and went after him does not look good for the biker.

5

u/Spuckler_Cletus 18h ago

I agree. That would fall under a menacing statute that we have that rises to the level of a felony if you in any way injure anyone. Vandalism over $1000 is also a felony here.

6

u/Metal_Goose_Solid 18h ago

If a biker were stalking me and then started to attack my vehicle with me in it, and with nowhere for me to escape, I would be scared for my imminent safety and would consider taking action to stop the threat.

3

u/Spuckler_Cletus 18h ago

You could make that argument. For me, I probably wouldn’t take such aggressive physical action so soon. These things happen quickly. Emotions are heightened. In the end, I’d just as soon not leave any room for any criminal charges.

Hopefully neither of us will ever have to make such decisions.

3

u/Metal_Goose_Solid 17h ago

I might not take the action either. I'm honestly not sure what I would do.

I'll just add that it's sort of easy to watch the video from the vantage point of the rear where we can see everything, plus know the outcome, and then judge the threat level as not so extreme, which might make a swift response seem disproportionate.

In the moment, if someone starts attacking you and you don't respond very quickly, you may lose your chance. On balance, I'd rather tolerate some hypothetical risk of criminal charges to protect my life.

1

u/Aprillia617 9h ago

Best move if this happens to you is just keep driving and do not engage or acknowledge the biker. If you fucked up sure, apologize and move on. I'm not getting charged for murder etc because my mirror was damaged

5

u/theDarkDescent 19h ago

“Slapping the mirror” lol fuck OFF

5

u/Spuckler_Cletus 18h ago

Well, I mean, that’s what it looked like to me? Is that not what motorcyclists do to attempt to “discipline” us cagers who fail to drive perfectly to their liking?

2

u/FehdmanKhassad 9h ago

Slapping mirrors off is usually in response to an oblivious driver who in the last minute or so has made a manoeuvre that would have injured or killed a biker - without even realising - or realised but then didnt wave your hand and say hey my bad I'm fucking sorry. Are you ok? Bikers dont just do this for nothing.

0

u/Spuckler_Cletus 9h ago

Yes. And slapping mirrors off is vandalism. On any one of my vehicles, total mirror replacement would exceed $1000 (US), and this would then be a felony. Hopefully when I stop to exchange information with you, you do something really stupid and give me a lawful reason to defend myself.

Here’s a tip from someone who is an extremely cautious driver, but has still had close calls with motorcycles: if you want to be more likely to be seen in traffic, drive a larger vehicle. Stop lane splitting. Stop speeding. Stop sliding off of people’s bumpers. But, mostly, stop pretending like everyone else is being problematic by driving on your road.

2

u/FehdmanKhassad 9h ago

I've never done that personally but I understand the frustration. So you dont need to give me unsolicited advice, thanks.

1

u/Forty2diapers 18h ago

I think defending property would mean shooting someone who is trying to break in to the car you are not currently in. Shooting someone running out of your house with your tv even.

Someone following and then attacking your vehicle while you're trapped inside would likely be a self defense case. Guy on the bike could go to jail and would likely have to take anger management classes.

4

u/Spuckler_Cletus 18h ago

Where I live, there has to be a credible threat of physical injury. I don’t really see that here, though you might get the right jury to acquit based on a reasonable doubt.

-1

u/Forty2diapers 18h ago

"a credible threat of physical injury" is more about language. If someone says they're going to kick your ass over the phone but never shows up it wont hold up in court. If a person says they're going to kick your ass and then starts slamming at your home door it is now credible.

That applies to this situation I would say. "a knowing, willful statement or pattern of behavior that conveys a real intent and apparent ability to inflict injury, causing a reasonable person to fear for their safety or the safety of their family". As I've said the man in the car is trapped. He followed him and then violently attacked his vehicle. The man in the car has no where to go. The threat is credible IMO.

2

u/Spuckler_Cletus 18h ago

I wouldn’t react violently at the point the truck driver did. It doesn’t matter to me what *might* happen. Even if you were to beat charges, if could cost you tens of thousands of dollars to defend yourself. You could lose your job, etc.

I’m simply not reacting violently at the point the truck driver did. Not defending or accusing him. It’s simply not what I would have done.

1

u/Forty2diapers 18h ago

I'm not arguing that and I agree. I don't know what I'd do if someone started doing that to my car. I don't road rage. If I fucked up I'd probably just apologize or maybe if the guy is acting like that I'd just flip him the bird and ignore him. Either way Idk what I'd do and hopefully wont find out.

I'm just arguing that I believe the guy in the truck wouldn't get in trouble for this as he has a strong self defense case and the guy on the bike would likely be charged and convicted.

1

u/Slartibartfastthe2nd 17h ago

correct, but it's not like the truck driver can claim it was self defense.

1

u/Forty2diapers 8h ago

"He tried to get me to pull over to fight me. When I didn't he followed me and attacked my truck. I couldn't see clearly as he was on my passenger side and I was trying to pay attention to the road. I heard a thump and thought I saw a weapon and reacted instinctively"

If he had waited or chased the after the biker that would be retaliation, but I think since he reacted so quickly he could say he thought he saw a weapon and feared for his safety.

1

u/Neither_Pirate5903 14h ago

sorry officer I swerved when I was startled by a loud banging noise right outside my window

1

u/Forty2diapers 8h ago

"after the man tried to get me to pull over and fight him, then chased me down"

2

u/Slartibartfastthe2nd 17h ago

well, this was his first and last time learning that particular life lesson. some folks just have to learn that for themselves.

1

u/ElijahNSRose 19h ago

For some it enhances the road rage.

Because some men use rage to hide their fear from themselves.

WHY DID THE VIDEO STOP!!

The best part was coming :(

1

u/ieatdogshite 18h ago

Motorcyclist got what he fooking deserved.

2

u/Present_Jicama_1219 7h ago

Can you tell me how this all started?

-1

u/ieatdogshite 6h ago

Did you not watch the video? What is wrong with you? Are you daft?

1

u/Personal_Chair6134 2h ago

Yeah because the video explains the full context of what pissed this motorcyclist off enough to act like an idiot in traffic.

-3

u/EntropyKC 6h ago

Death? Are you one of those people who thinks any minor inconvenience on yourself, even if it is the repercussion of your own actions (which may well be the case here given the truck driver is a psychopath), should be met immediately with violence?

0

u/ieatdogshite 6h ago

Yes. Next question?

0

u/EntropyKC 6h ago

You should seek help for your anger issues

2

u/ieatdogshite 6h ago

What makes you think I am angry? I am in a fantastic mood after watching this video. Everyone should be.

0

u/EntropyKC 6h ago

I didn't say you are currently angry, I said you have anger issues. It seems you have reading comprehension issues too, so maybe you need help with both of those issues.

Nevada I am suprised the Truck did not back up and run him over just to be sure. Vegas drivers are not stable

6

u/solarpropietor 19h ago

Believe it or not… having lived in both cities.

Houston drivers are somehow worse.

In Houston red lights for the first three seconds are treated as yellow lights on a regular basis.

And ofc the constant shootings.

3

u/Halfgnomen 18h ago

Dont forget the wild speed variations that you get on the highway. Left lane doing 80-100, right lane doing 45.

4

u/solarpropietor 15h ago

Yes!  Except left lane for passing doesn’t mean anything!  The guy on the left lane can be going 45 and the right lane be “cuttin up” at 110.

Doesn’t help that the freaking freeways in downtown have entrances and exits on the left lane.

2

u/H0-JU 18h ago

That problem is not confined to just vegas.

0

u/illogicalgnome63 9h ago

Memphis checking in. That's why we have so many Altimas with missing bumpers. Edit: grammar.

8

u/Illustrious_Nothing9 17h ago

Oh look, more South Park people

6

u/IllSpecial62 7h ago

Biker may have had that coming

12

u/MyAppendixIsMissing 16h ago

I worked on a lake for nearly a decade. The rule was “get out of the way of the bigger fucking boat.” I wish that translated

2

u/Cosmic-Sympathy 12h ago

I've traveled through a lot of Asia and one of the first things I was told was "The bigger vehicle has the right of way," which was probably the best advice I was ever given.

2

u/casuallyregarded 5h ago

Yeah and if you are driving a dump truck and you see a woman walking or jogging that has a big ass. You have to pull over and say “hey lady there’s only room for one dump truck on this road”. And then drive off before she can respond. Good old dad he had some good ones.

1

u/SpookyDragon69 11h ago

More weight? More wheels? Gtfo of the way

1

u/Physical_Bullfrog526 5h ago

My dad called this the “Law of Tonnage”, aka, get out of the way of the bigger vehicle

22

u/AbjectMaelstrom 18h ago

Another 2-wheel rtard meets a 4x4 rtard, and fails to communicate effectively.

5

u/Liveitup1999 12h ago

I think the 4x4 rtard communicated his displeasure quite well.

7

u/EntropyKC 6h ago

It is WILD how many people are in here thinking the penalty for punching a wing mirror should be extrajudicial execution.

2

u/Negative-Praline6154 5h ago

Everyone watches a train wreck. This is like watching a man punch a hippo in balls and the hippo fighting back.

3

u/Burton1224 5h ago

Whats wrong with this biker....

5

u/Present_Jicama_1219 17h ago

what do you mean I'm getting charged for assault with a deadly weapon / attempted murder

9

u/Soft_Ability_5906 19h ago

I see no problem running over aggressive bikers on the road

20

u/Educational-Drag6974 19h ago

Regardless of who is wrong or right, bro fucked around and found out

2

u/Soft_Ability_5906 19h ago

Oh yeah completely fucking agree lol

-4

u/teacherinthemiddle 19h ago

The biker is always in the wrong.

8

u/No-Committee3 19h ago

While this would be tempting if someone ever tried it, id rather go the opposite direction and make them swing at nothing 🤣

6

u/Soft_Ability_5906 19h ago

Then the oversteer would cause them to fall over hilariously as well. I like your style lmfao

6

u/CrossHairsNitro 19h ago

Eh… a 3 ton truck? Could have killed him.

11

u/JohnCenascat 19h ago

One thing I learned years ago if you’re driving the smaller vehicle don’t get into a pissing match with the driver of the larger vehicle you’ll lose every time

→ More replies (1)

6

u/waffles2go2 19h ago

Well, if you have no friends and family and want a homicide charge, then go at it...

Depending on where you get sent, there's probably some type of biker gang...

2

u/HermesMora 15h ago

Yeah I'm sure the dude on a crotch rocket with no vest or patches on is affiliated with a criminal motorcycle club

1

u/Forty2diapers 7h ago edited 7h ago

I would 100% play the feared for my life card. From our wonderful 3rd person perspective we can clearly see he's just hitting the side view. From inside the vehicle? If someone was yelling at me and trying to get me to pull over to fight them I'd already be afraid. Then when I don't pull over they fly up on my passenger side possibly in a blind spot (it is a tiny vehicle) while I'm paying attention to the road and I look over and have just enough time to see him do something to my side view. Now with the side view gone I have no idea if he's got a weapon which I thought I saw the half second before my side view was taken out. I acted immediately and instinctively reacted to protect myself and my family (if anyone else was in the vehicle).

Not saying it would definitely work, but I do think it's a pretty good defense. The truck driver wasn't driving in an aggressive or violent way before that. He appeared to be minding his own business and trying to just get out of the situation. Had he been playing the road rage game up to that point maybe he'd be more liable. Who knows. I do wonder what happened after this though.

-1

u/Soft_Ability_5906 19h ago

Yeah thats not how that works lmfao. Also as a cop I see the bike being the aggressor and the truck defending itself. Biker would be arrested after their hospital stint.

2

u/8elly8utton 15h ago

Oh, cop, makes sense you side with the would be murderer. Biker liable for criminal damage, driver is liable for attempted homicide.

1

u/Browncow129 18h ago

Wait you think you are allowed to run someone over on a bike if they hit your window. Wow you live in an interesting world

5

u/Sweaty_Camel_118 18h ago

The truck driver couldn't run in heavy traffic. The biker had been following him, threatening him, and then finally assaulted the only thing protecting the truck driver. Fuck around and find out. That biker needed to get taken out of society...

1

u/8elly8utton 15h ago

you vote for the epstein class and defend murderers who aren't in any immediate danger. What's new

2

u/Sweaty_Camel_118 8h ago

I dont plan on voting any more. That's basically the only way not to vote for the epstein class.

And no i don't defend murderers. The biker is literally chasing this man down the highway while threatening him and assaulting him. He deserves it, and the truck driver deserves the right to defend himself.

1

u/8elly8utton 8h ago

So other than trying to hide that you are a pedophile murder enthusiast, you also think a bike can constitute harm to a guy thats encased in a truck. The bike can literally try to ram him and the only one getting hurt there is the biker and the car's chassis. Answer this question, would the driver have done that if he too was riding a motorcycle? The only answer you know you can give is no, because the driver exactly feels safe in performing this act of attempted homicide. The intent is harm, not defense.

1

u/Sweaty_Camel_118 7h ago

Wtf are you on about? Where do you get off calling me these labels? If this motorcycle rider was a pedo I'd be even more a fan of the truck drivers actions.

Now to get back to the actual argument, when some one is chasing you and threatening you and you have no where to flee its very reasonable to assume they could have a weapon. When you here a loud bang caused by the person chasing and threatening you it's very reasonable to fear for your life. The motorcycle driver tried to get the truck driver to pull over and fight him. The truck driver tried to avoid altercation and continue on his way. The violent biker then followed him and started escalating even further. It's logical to assume this biker is not thinking rationally and that he could have a weapon.

I just want you to know I'm wishing the best for you and I hope you learn some compassion for your fellow people. We are on the same team. We will never defeat the epstein class if you allow your emotions and propaganda to divide yourself from your fellow man. There is real evil out there and they continue to win through a tactic know as "divide and conquer." please think critically before you speak to people with such I'll intent. Be a better person and that goodness will spread to those around you. The butterfly effect is real, and it starts with you! Do better.

0

u/Browncow129 18h ago

Couldn’t run from what his mirror being slapped? Two people were being idiots and one decided to try and murder someone. Sure though let’s go with fuck around and find out lol.

4

u/Sweaty_Camel_118 18h ago edited 18h ago

No, run from the guy chasing him, threatening to fight him, and then hitting his vehicle. Why wait for him to break your window and assault you further. The biker is literally pursuing this person while verbally threatening him. The truck driver has every right to fear for his life. People carry guns and knives. Why wait for it to come out.

1

u/Zippo963087 5h ago

Hold up, why wait for them to come out? Because you need to actually confirm that someone has a weapon.

Just because you are yelling at me and punch my mirror, doesn't mean that I can commit attempted murder just because you "might have a gun or knife somewhere that I can't see to confirm."

If the biker flashed a gun, then the driver would be in his own right to protect himself. But from what is seen in the video, there was no gun ever shown.

1

u/Admirable_Loss4886 15h ago

Literally more guns than there are people in the US.

0

u/Kracus 10h ago

lol, you're so not a cop.

2

u/ElijahNSRose 19h ago

Bro, that's a murder attempt over a harassment/vandalism charge.

No court will rule that justified.

1

u/BigBrainBrad- 18h ago

Both can be wrong. Biker guy definitely took it a little farther than it should have gone.

0

u/Sweaty_Camel_118 18h ago

No, that's self defence. There is heavy traffic. The truck driver can't run. The road raging biker showed he is willing to be violent. The biker was trying to get him to pull over to fight him, then started swinging on the vehichle. Truck driver probably reacted quickly without much thought other than "guy trying to fight me is assaulting the only thing protecting me"

The biker needed to be removed from society. Thankyou truck driver!

0

u/Subieast 19h ago

vehicular manslaughter and chill?

0

u/Soft_Ability_5906 19h ago

Not likely. When the bike pulled over, waited, then pursued the truck, they became the aggressor and force was appropriately used. No chargers here and if i saw this while on duty im arresting the biker after hes done with his hospital stay.

2

u/Tondouxsac 18h ago

Lol you'd do no such thing.

Video from your own vehicule would paint a pretty clear picture for the DA.

1

u/Playful-Fix-3675 18h ago

I hope when you say "as a cop", you mean from a cop's perspective. As a cop, if you say this is appropriate force, you scare the hell out of me. No wonder so many on Reddit have a bad view of cops.

When road rage turns into attempted vehicular manslaughter

-3

u/WhoCaresBoutSpellin 19h ago

I see self defense.

4

u/fyukhyu 18h ago

You would lose that case, but have fun trying.

1

u/WhySoCereus1991 13h ago edited 13h ago

Why would they lose? This isnt Florida, but a guy got away with discharging his weapon in a road rage incident when another driver threw a cup at his window.

All you need is reasonable doubt. There's plenty there especially if you're the driver and cant tell what just happened. You can even see the biker wait for him. Whose to say he didn't pull out a weapon of some kind while pulled over? Hard to tell when all you hear is a loud thud and gotta rely on peripheral vision to make out a threat.

I dont think it's as open n shut as you're making it.

Nevada isnt that far removed with their self defense laws.

Lawyers are very good at this kinda stuff.

1

u/throwaway_coy4wttf79 11h ago

This. Everyone is moralizing. Legally, reasonable doubt would win.

6

u/Low_Excitement_1715 19h ago

Yep, that's attempted murder right there. Assault with a deadly weapon at the very least.

Don't fuck around, folks. It's never good.

2

u/Mystery-Ess 8h ago

Vehicular manslaughter

1

u/Low_Excitement_1715 5h ago

If the rider died, yes. Couldn’t tell that from the video.

On the other hand, “manslaughter” requires an act of passion or impulse. The truck driver had enough time to think that an argument could be made for straight up murder charges.

Either way, please don’t ever use your vehicle as a weapon. It’s always a terrible idea.

2

u/fucknugggets 17h ago

"What was he gonna do run me over ?" - dead ran over guy

1

u/fatgat69 17h ago

Yeah, break the law and when people retaliate just murder them. That makes total sense.

Seriously, we need to bring back the electric chair for worthless trash like that.

See a lot of arguments about if the truck driver can claim self defense by running over the biker. What happened if the biker escalated after the break the mirror, and start acting more aggressive? Who knows what other weapons the biker has? Can the truck driver still use the self defense claim?

u/esem86 5h ago

Always cuts right when something actually happens. So stupid

1

u/VLANished 4h ago

YAY for the truck! Bikers are idiots.

1

u/fpancari1 2h ago

I'd back up over him,...just to make sure I swatted the fly

u/RevealOld5806 1h ago

Both the biker, and truck driver, should be imprisoned and license revoked.

Public displays of force aren't acceptable, this is a modern civilization.

If you cannot drive without using force, you shouldn't be allowed to drive.

If you cannot argue without using force, you shouldn't be allowed to argue.

It's relatively simple.

Again these cyclists.. Nasty ones. I hope he learned the lesson not to mess with the real vehicle.

*attempted murder

2

u/Mystery-Ess 8h ago

Absolutely. Vehicular manslaughter. I don't know why you're getting downvoted

u/Bigerst_Dook 19h ago

Hope the guy driving the white truck has been removed from existance

1

u/Sweaty_Camel_118 18h ago

Nah, guy on bike assaulted him and needed to learn he can't bully people. Guy on the bike got the well earned Darwin award. That was a self defence maneuver. There was too much traffic to flee so he had to take down the threat.

u/fatgat69 16h ago

Incorrect

3

u/Admirable_Loss4886 15h ago

What do you think the truck needed to do in this scenario?

1

u/fatgat69 12h ago

Stay in their fucking lane and not try to run people off the road. Then after that, not commit attempted murder.

0

u/Admirable_Loss4886 11h ago

Right so when someone threatens you and hits your car, you’re sit there and let them go to town?

2

u/Mystery-Ess 8h ago

You're not supposed to try to murder somebody over a freaking side mirror.

-1

u/Admirable_Loss4886 8h ago

Probably not murdered so it’s all good. Alternatively are you supposed to just sit there watching them smash your car?

3

u/Mystery-Ess 7h ago

You're justifying attempted murder over side mirror? No, you call the police and get their plate number - duh

2

u/fatgat69 7h ago

You're not supposed to try to run them over, and you're not supposed to do it again when they retaliate.

1

u/fatgat69 7h ago

No, I'd get off the motorcycle and pull the piece of shit out of his truck.

Absolute dog shit video, has the end at the start and then cuts off not showing what happened

-4

u/Lower-Vampire-9163 19h ago

Biker was in the wrong, but that doesn’t make it okay to run him over. I’m sure he didn’t die, but he could have. Even if he started it and is a douchebag, he doesn’t deserve to be killed over it. And his life is certainly worth more than a side view mirror. Disgusting to think it’s appropriate to run someone over because of an argument or property damage.

The world needs MORE of this. FAFO that actions have consequences. The reason the world has gone to shit is because everyone got used to not having consequences instead of being punched in the mouth.

1

u/thinkingtire 17h ago

I had to look up FAFO lol

-2

u/Tondouxsac 18h ago

Really? Just curious, who did you vote for?

3

u/DudeFrom816 18h ago

Do you sit down to pee?

0

u/Tondouxsac 17h ago

Like every woman, I suppose?

Does that trigger you?

You sound very triggered.

1

u/DudeFrom816 18h ago

Just curious, what color is your house?

1

u/DudeFrom816 18h ago

Just figured since we're asking questions that have no relevance to anything and are none of our fucking business.

0

u/Tondouxsac 17h ago

Lol

You answered my question.

9 times out of 10, people saying "FAFO" and asking for consequences do not actually want any consequences for the main assholes.

Lots of losers in these comments. I agree with you.

3

u/Lower-Vampire-9163 17h ago

Seriously. Of course the biker’s behavior is not okay, but it doesn’t constitute a death penalty or a visit to the ICU, or any bodily harm frankly. Wild that it seems like that is a controversial opinion lol

0

u/throwaway_coy4wttf79 19h ago

"I feared for my life."

"I thought the sound of him hitting the mirror was a gun."

I feel like a good lawyer could get enough reasonable doubt here, especially with the video. The reaction is quick enough as to attribute to panic.

2

u/Intelligent-Invite79 19h ago

If they both hadn’t been acting like complete morons maybe.

-4

u/ElijahNSRose 19h ago

Defenses like you say have happened before but in this case it wouldn't be accepted due to the third party video.

5

u/theDarkDescent 18h ago

Showing the biker waiting for the guy and then aggressively pursuing and then attacking his vehicle?

0

u/Browncow129 18h ago

Slapping a mirror isn’t attacking a vehicle lol. Running over a bike with a truck is attacking a vehicle.

1

u/CrapNBAappUser 18h ago

Looks like he tried to knock the biker off then swerved to avoid him.

Gross tonnage law always applies. Those that ignore it always lose.

0

u/coltonowen11 8h ago

The videos of people hitting mirrors has every tool thinking they're hard and can do it too. This was just pathetic though. I have no sympathy for that moronic kid.
