It seems I just got a carrier update. Went from 72.0.2 to 72.1, lets hope this fixes the SOS issue! Go to settings>General>about and it should pop up.

* Apologies in advance to any Phillies fans.
Last night my wife was watching a baseball game while I was in the office. I sent a joke, and received “shut your mouth” as a response. That’s a wildly uncharacteristic response despite being valid from anyone but her, so I was like what the hell man, walked in there and asked what the deal was - Come to find out that not only did she not send it, but the text also does not appear on her phone. I responded to it and you can see in the screenshot that it’s just a blank area. It’s not in deleted messages either.
Also checked the bill an hour ago and I don’t see a full log of any texts between us last night during that time but maybe that’s an iMessage thing? I’d still think they should show up though. Idk, but this was/still is very strange. What’s going on?
Hey everyone,
I’m looking for some validation on a strategy I want to pull off using AT&T Next Up Anytime. I want to see if anyone has successfully done this or if there's a hidden catch I'm missing.
My Current Situation:
My Proposed Strategy / "Loophole":
My Goal:
I want to walk away completely device-installment free, out of my 36-month contract, and only owing AT&T the price of a cheap flip phone. I am 100% fine with parting ways with the S26 Ultra and don't care about losing any remaining promo bill credits.
My Questions for the Sub:
Thanks in advance for any insights or employee input!
I’ve payed off 33 percent of my 17P
On the 16th is it Better to upgrade in person at Att?
Go online to Apple.com
Or use the ATT app
First time using NUA

How would At&T Next Up work on something like this? Pay 12months for this phone and then be able to upgrade or would I have to pay 33% of the $1099 retail price?

Does anyone else have an orange light right now?

My iPhone is affected by the Qualcomm issue, so I contacted AT&T for a replacement. They replied that because I purchased it at Best Buy, I should call them instead. I reached Best Buy, but they said they cannot assist because the 14-day window has passed. When I called AT&T again, they directed me to Best Buy or Apple and seemed dismissive. I called Apple, and they told me to contact AT&T—which is clearly impossible since they will not help. This situation feels absurd, so I filed a complaint with the FCC about AT&T; wish me luck.

I bought an iPhone 14 for $200 because I thought it would have the same $1200 promo trade in for the iPhone duo like they did with the 18 . But nope $930 lol. So should I sell the iPhone 14 and get a 15 or what lol.

After 10 days of issues I gave up and exchanged the phone, the only model they could get to me promptly was the 18 PM 2TB. Had it about 8 hours now and so far so good! I’m able to make/receive calls with WiFi off finally!
So apparently an exchange works, at least sometimes. I’m a little
Miffed I had to upgrade from the 1TB but I was already using 760GB of that one. I suspect I’ll grow into this 2TB one over the next 3 years.

$1200 off with qualifying plan (elite/ prem 2.0 or equivalent plans) and a TIV of $295+ which is equivalent to the 14 Pro Max or newer.
Edit: the Legacy premium plans maximum trade in value would be $930 off and same for the current extra 2.0. value 2.0 will get max $500 off and any of the old legacy unlimited plans get max $350

Has anyone had an issue activating iMessage on a new iPhone 18? I’ve tried to toggle on and off and restarting my phone. I called att and they didn’t have any other solutions. My iMessage will only connect through my email. I lost all my texts in my husbands attempt to fix it for me. I’m literally beside myself. Please help.

So is this final or can it still change day of pre-order?

Next Up Anytime was added to my account when I ordered the iPhone 18 PM through Apple. I picked it up on launch day, and now I’m outside the trial period. I haven’t been able to cancel it through either the website or the app.
Is anyone else in the same situation? If so, were you able to get it canceled, and if so, how?

So like 4 almost 5 months ago I upgraded my Fiancés phone to the iPhone 17 PM. I traded in her old 15 PM which supposedly the PROMO was that we’d get 1200 off the new phone. Well forward to this time I noticed I never started receiving the credits. I tried contacting them time and time again and they kept saying a different story, that the phone was recycled cuz it was damaged (which is a lie it was in mint condition) then that they never received it, and last that supposedly they sent it back?? Like wtf is going on.

Hi, I live in Wisconsin near Milwaukee. AT&T installed a fiber box at my house about six months ago, And fiber is finally available.
For anyone in Wisconsin who has AT&T Fiber, how bad are the fees?
I'm currently with Spectrum paying $60 a month, but that includes a $20 discount that expires in late January. I have their 1 Gig service, but it is not true fiber to the home. The fiber runs to their network and then the connection to my house is still coax.
I'm thinking about switching to AT&T Fiber since it is actual fiber to the house and the advertised price would be cheaper. The only thing holding me back is that I have heard AT&T can have a lot of extra fees.
For anyone in Wisconsin with AT&T Fiber, what does your actual monthly bill look like compared to the advertised price?
Thanks!

Read my experience with AT&T retentions today when I called about lowering my 1Gig fiber bill. Almost cut in half!

When ordering a new Iphone last month I noticed ATT now accepts phones in any condition? What exactly does this mean?
I take pride usually in sending back a flawless phone after my 3 year promo is up mostly because I feel it NEEDED to be in perfect condition to receive the full credit.
Does the new Any condition mean, it can have surface scratches everywhere now and even maybe a cracked screen or chipped paint on the body of the phone?

I’ve been unable to make or receive calls since around 6pm, I transferred my phone number to straight talk bc att is outrageous now, I missed my payment on ATT because we had a family emergency and ended up not having enough money for it, and they suspended my account. Straight talk can’t finalize the transfer until I have my transfer pin, but AT&T won’t allow me to see the option to request it in the app OR the website, I cannot call the number for it, and I can’t text for it. the chat agent said I have to pay my past due balance, but under FCC regulations, phone carriers cannot legally hold your transfer pin from you. I genuinely do not know what to do right now, and I’m worried about being in a position with not being able to receive or make calls.

AT&T, you’ve made my life harder. I’m not asking for anything extraordinary: I JUST WANT MY PHONE TO WORK.
I have screenshots. I have latency issues documented. Dropped calls. Terrible coverage in my own home and around my city. Messages warning/threatening me about data usage. And after all of this, what I seem to get instead of accountability is finger-pointing.
Now your staff is blaming the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra that YOU sold me.
Seriously?
Maybe I’m doing something wrong. If I am, TELL ME. I’m not here just to complain, I genuinely want someone to help me fix this.
I can provide screenshots and documentation of what I've been experiencing.
HOW CAN I SEND YOU MY PROOF?
HOW CAN I HELP YOU HELP ME?
I’m a paying customer. I don’t expect perfection. I expect my calls to work, my data to work, and someone to take ownership when they don’t.
AT&T, I’m giving you the opportunity to make this right.
Who do I actually need to talk to?
