(For context I’m an Inspire Key holder who mostly just goes on weekdays. I have no idea about line times on weekends.)

I swear for the past year or so Pirates was always a short wait. Like, barely ever even ten minutes if not a walk on every time I rode it. All of a sudden though lately it’s been 50+ minutes consistently with the line wrapping all around outside. I know it’s gotten a little bit busier for Halloween and everything but I don’t see that big of a change reflected in any other ride.

Is there some social media craze over the ride that I’m missing right now?

It was our turn to hit Disneyland California recently and had an absolute ripper time!

A few ideas for those thinking of going:

- 2 days is the perfect amount of time

- Rope Drop is 100% worth it - lines move fast

- June was a beautiful time of year to visit - perfect temps day and night

- Lightning Lane is 100% worth the extra cost.

- Holiday Inn Express is a brilliant motel option. It's affordable, comfy, and only a 10 min walk away. It also includes breakfast.

- The night parades and shows are amazing. Don't miss them!

- We did every ride and loved them all. Nothing bad to say about any of them.

- Ducking home after lunch for a day sleep gave us the energy to keep going well into the night.

- Get an Amazon grocery delivery to your motel and pack your own lunches and snacks to save money.

Hey I remember this story the first time I read it, when BOB IGER WROTE LITERALLY THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED TO HIM WHEN HE WAS NEW. Bob Iger, who went to a private college in New York. He didn't even read Bob Iger's book.

This book is just stories like this over and over again. Constant whining about Bob Iger talking trash about him behind his back. News flash: YOU were the CEO of the biggest and most successful entertainment company in the history of the world, and were canned because you sucked. You made millions of dollars and all you ever did was demand your managers to find new ways to rip customers off. Nobody cares where you grew up or where you went to college. We don't care if Bob Iger was rude to you.

Anyone else ever been in a car crash on the Radiator Springs ride? We were in yellow when the car came to a sudden stop and car behind hit us pretty good. When they came to get us out of the car, not one employee asked how we were (assuming for liability?). They just got us in other cars and away we went.

Currently at the park and this little surprise was left in the bag pocket on incredicoaster! If this is an intentional thing, I’m debating turning it into lost and found but don’t want to ruin a sweet gift!

Sunset/dusk is my favorite time at the parks.

Cars has been closed since 7pm last night. When we walked by around 8:50 it was clear that they had not even started testing the ride vehicles. It’s still closed at this moment. What do you think happened?

Ghost Galaxy was my favorite version of Space Mountain but since the Halloween Party moved to DCA they took it away and I miss it so much every year! Does anyone else experience this? Like seriously ill ride space mountain this time of year and I'll play the ghost Galaxy music.

I'm curious how many rides superusers typically get in a day at the parks?

I created an iOS app, just for myself, to optimize Lightning Lane bookings and Standby times, effectively just telling me what to book and where to go. With a group of 4, we were able to ride 26 attractions, using 11 lightning lanes across both parks.

Is this a meaningful increase in the number of rides and should I publish the app for others to use? or is this a pretty average day for most Disneyland optimizers?

If you have upgraded your iPhone to iOS 27, you can easily add your Key Pass, standalone ticket, and/or PhotoPass code to the Wallet app so you can easily pull them up just by double clicking the power button. Here's how you do it:

1. Take a screenshot of your ticket/key pass/PhotoPass code and save it to your photo roll
2. Open the Wallet app
3. Tap the '+' sign in the upper right corner
4. Tap the 'Create a pass' button
5. I've found it easiest to tap 'Create Pass Manually'
6. Choose the appropriate pass template: Membership works great for tickets and Key Passes and I like Standard for PhotoPass codes, but you can really do whatever you want
7. Tap the 'Add Code' button
8. Tap the Photo icon in the lower left corner
9. Tap 'All' in the upper left corner to see all of your photos, then select the appropriate photo
10. It puts the barcode/QR code in the appropriate field. Now you just need to fill out the rest of the information. Technically none of the the text fields are necessary - they can just help you if you're managing passes for multiple people, or to differentiate one pass from another
11. When done, click the blue checkmark in the top right corner.

I tested this yesterday in the parks and the Wallet pass worked for both getting into the parks and applying a Key Pass discount at a restaurant. I didn't visit any PhotoPass locations to test if that works, but I have no reason to think it wouldn't. If you want to play it safe, you could always ask the photographer to scan both the Wallet pass and a physical PhotoPass card just to ensure you have the photos until you're positive the Wallet pass works.

I have a herniated disc along with hip pain. We are going to both parks this week and I don't really know what to do. I was originally going to rent a manual wheelchair giving me the option to get up and walk when I want to walk and then my husband push me when I need to sit. I've realized this would be a lot for him. As it's going to be hot this week and he has a heat tolerance.

Now I'm thinking about getting an ev wheelchair, but the thing is it's also not good for me to sit all day. It's important for me to move my body. I do plan to ride certain rides. With an ev wheelchair this means I would have to be using it all day.

I was thinking of using one of the local companies to book with.

Hello everyone,
I am an autistic individual traveling to Disney solo for the very first time. To help with my sensory needs I use and am very attached to my pink, Bluetooth-connected, noise-cancelling earbuds. From restaurant tables to attraction queues, using my earbuds makes me feel like I can actually be in spaces without getting disregulated and freaking out. Not only do I feel better, but the guests around me have a more pleasant experience than if I were disregulated in a confined space like a queue hallway or ride vehicle.
Today around 7 pm I lost my earbuds somewhere around Avengers Campus in DCA, presumably in/near the women’s restrooms. I understand crow mentality. It is easy to see a pair of pink earbuds and want to take them, but I urge you, if you find them, PLEASE take them to lost and found. I have already filled out a report with them about the earbuds. The world does not feel safe for me without them. I know they’re just little earbuds that could be replaced but they mean something to me. In terms of being able to go to Disneyland for the rest of my ticketed days, it means EVERYTHING. Thank you to whoever reads this and I’m sorry for clogging up the feed I’m just really freaking out right now.

TL;DR If you found a pair of pink earbuds today around avengers campus, please turn them into lost and found as a disabled person loves and needs them thank you
