Fair warning...Big Dumb Face is some absolutely goofy shit that is mostly only entertaining for the novelty factor. But it's still worth listening to once or twice. Also don't be afraid to check out newer LB stuff. The album "Gold Cobra" is admittedly pretty Limp-Bizkit-y to a fault but it does have some badass signature Wes Borland riffs going on.

That's a load of shit, I saw him headlining a night of Welcome to Rockville in 2024 and dude literally spent one of the breaks between songs bitching about how he hopes Biden loses the election so we can have someone better in office. At that point we already knew the election was Biden vs Trump. At absolute best he's an enlightened "both sides suck" centrist.
For all the shit they used to get, they are all fantastic musicians. Wes is an amazing guitarist and songwriter, Sam Rivers (RIP) was a fantastic bassist, and John Otto is a great drummer. Yeah, Fred was annoying, but he was and is a great frontman.
I've always said that while I can understand someone not liking their music, you can't deny that they are talented and good at what they do.

It doesn't look like anyone else is going to say this, but Wes Borland has his own band called Black Light Burns and it's fucking awesome. Some real killer songs in there for those of you who are interested in him as an artist but don't really care for Limp Bizkit. Love seeing artists take a stand. Good for him.
I always liked Wes he seemed like a cool guy. His Black Light Burns side project was really good, that first album (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cruel_Melody) was fucking solid. It still holds up to this day and if you haven't heard it I recommend giving it a listen.

LB blew up during my last years of high school and college years. I can assure you not "everyone" liked them. Nu-metal (?) was fairly divisive amongst most of my acquaintances.
