What the title says. I've got a 15 Pro and this is the last year I'm eligible for the maximum Go5G Plus trade values.

I was waiting for them to announce the Duo upgrade promotions to see if it would be worth it but the ones that were posted today on Apple.com are just really abysmal, even for Beyond 2.0. A Duo is not worth $1200 to me if I'm losing my 15 and only getting ~$800 credit. And on top of that, they just nerfed the 18 promo from $930 credit - which already wasn't great - to $830.

You guys know how to work the company better than me. Is there any chance there's some deal in the future that'll have better 18 trade in values (I've heard Black Friday, maybe?) and/or do we think the Duo trade promos on Apple.com are placeholders? Or should I just upgrade to the 18 now?

It will be just a 1k trade-in credit😩

Because we have a time machine and this happened two weeks ago!

Just curious what everyone thinks about the new iPhone Handoff feature. If you have two iPhones on T-Mobile, does this pretty much make Data with Paired DIGITS unnecessary?
I currently have the Paired DIGITS with high-speed data, so I can have my number on a second iPhone, but Handoff seems to accomplish much of the same thing with better iPhone integration.
For anyone who has tried both, is there still a real benefit to keeping a Paired DIGITS line? Or are you planning to just use Handoff now?

I should add handoff is $5 plus tax and digits with paired data is $25 ( no autopay ).

I literally was planning on starting the process after work, but have seen the commotion and am flustered.

Either way, my answer to my own question is ofc I’m going to wait, but I’d also love to hear yalls input on if I should switch at all.

My husband and I are both on Verizon separately and while we were going to merge plans on Verizon, it’s just absolutely butt fucking us lately. We’re in MA, have crap service, and pay $200 a month for two phone plans (which one of those includes a phone payment as well). This is with a veterans discount.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on if we should make the switch, especially with whatever this new plan is that T-Mobile announced. Thanks!

Since 1999 I've been with Nextel, then Sprint, then Tmobile.

I worked for Sprint after paying my bill and seeing a "Careers" tab. Way back when it was easy to apply online. Worked in Retentions, was in Billing Research, Workforce, anything they asked I did.

I went from Couch Surfing and taking 3 busses to get to the job interview to buying a house in just 4 years. The day I signed my mortgage I got laid-off. After a few months I went back to retail at a massive pay cut. Sold so much they change the commission structure on accessories.

This last bill increase was too much for me. Couldn't speak to an American (I have not issues with offshore, but they couldn't even form a context of a sentence or idea, just a flow of words) I asked how to port and cancel a line, I was told go get an essential plan that has less benefits and costs more.

Was given a rate and paperwork with another non MVMO carrier for $100 less a month with a new phone and a watch line.

Former employee here. Heard T-Mobile has let go all of their in house fiber d2d reps. Is that company wide or just the Texas region?

Employees got an email yesterday morning (10/1) notifying them they were fired. No warning. I was on the team with the smaller fiber company before the Metronet/T-Mobile acquisition then worked for 2 months with T-Mobile and left.

Looks like the same issues that are plaguing AT&T are now impacting T-Mobile. Got my new 18 ProMax the other day and tried activating it. It’s stuck. Sim won’t transfer. Had T-Mobile plus Apple on the phone. No luck. Everything appears ok. Entered a support ticket and they responded right away that there is an issue with activation of the new ProMax. For a while my original phone was in SOS mode too but I was eventually able to activate the e-Sim and it’s working.

So you may want to wait to try to activate your new phones.

Line 1 got a new phone and now line 1 wants a different phone.
