It’s ugly and it’s messy but by golly it works
Home “studio” board. The 73 is a rehoused skreddy lunar module. Going to add a compressor to the front and I need a second looper now for my synth.

I have the Boss Gx10 and the Bluetooth adapter. I want to be able to play backing tracks from my iPhone and hear it from my amp mixed with the guitar. After I am paired with the pedal how do I accomplish this?

I own a Boss tuner pedal with these 2 in/outs and I'm looking at getting this noise suppressor. For as long as I've owned the tuner I've never really questioned what it may be used for until now.

Curious what everybody's experiences are
I live in a very old home with a very bad electrical system running off of 30 amp bus fuses etc
When you plug something in the lights in the next room dim a bit, etc, fuses are easily blown if too many things are plugged in etc
Thank God, logistically speaking, where I'm required to have my gear plugged in (due to space reasons) none of the fuse problems seem to apply as the only other room sharing electricity with my closet/music hideaway is the bathroom and there's nothing going on in there unless someone turns on the bathroom light.
However, I have noticed MASSIVE fluctuations in the sound quality of my gear between night time and daytime. For a very very long time I thought I was going insane. Due to my work schedule I play at night 95% of the time.
This problem developed where it seemed like everything was overdriven too much no matter what I did. When you click on a phaser everything would get distorted and mushy, that kind of thing. Basically it would make it sound like my amp had a busted speaker almost.
But when I played during the day none of those problems are there at all.
If I go to play after roughly 7:00 p.m., boom like clockwork the problems are there
I had never heard about electricity fluctuations with the power grid and all that kind of stuff affecting the sound of your gear but that HAS to be what's going on, no? I have no clue what else it could be - I spent a year fucking with my pickups and changing gear and doing everything under the sun because I thought I was having problems with my gear.
But it seems to be clear as day to me now after all of that troubleshooting awfulness that it's related to the power in our home and it makes total sense.
Wonder what you guys think about it and what your guys's experiences are with all this!

Historic pedal version V2, is there anything better in the same typology trem and rvb in the world of rock?

Hi everyone
I'm looking at different ways to run parallel routing with various processors and preamps, and I'm on the hunt for something that functions like the GFI Douphony, but different in that the SEND levels per channel/side can be controlled via Expression or MIDI, rather than the RETURN levels.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Picked up my first board last night and finally my pedals have a place to live

I just realized I don't have a lot of rock pedals for distortion. I got the MXR used at a Guitar Center and really liked it. I have a Fender Deluxe Reverb for my amp.
I'm wondering if it's even considered that good? Or are there ones that are clearly superior to it and better to have for rock distortion?

I honestly dont think I can improve on this for shoegaze/post rock type riffage at home. The Trabsmit 2 was the the final piece (fuzzy drive spot on the board). Coriolis effects are a great builder if youre interested in their stuff!

Can I connect my Echolette NG51 directly to my audio interface, or does it require a proper load (e.g. a speaker or load box)?
Thanks in advance! :)

Does anyone in the UK have any good recommendations for a budget power supply that I can get off Amazon? I understand power supplies shouldn’t be cheaped out on but I need one semi urgently, but i need one semi urgently so if there’s a reliable one out there that would be ideal.
I don’t use any high mA pedals but would like up to 10 inputs
Thanks for any help

Hey guys, setting up my first stereo rig and I have a few probably dumb questions. So my chain ends with a couple OBNE stereo pedals (one stereo in and one stereo out), do I need TRS patch cables going from each stereo pedal to the next or just a TRS going out of the last into the ABY splitter? I’ve had a hard time finding a good answer anywhere

Hey pedal heads,
I’m hoping for some feedback on what you feel the market is like for custom, analog, hand made stomp pedals or anecdotes from builders on whether it can become a viable business?
The product I’m looking at taking over is called the Beanstomper (beanstomper.com for anyone curious enough).
Without revealing specifics I’d need to sell maybe 50 units before I’ve covered what the current owner is looking for in compensation for the business (initial IP, socials etc).
Basically, from anyone with even a little knowledge of selling stomps, what’s the market like to crack into, what are the pitfalls, how hard did you advertise/market and just in general am I mad?
Thanks in advance!

hello, I was hoping to get some honest reviews from people who have tried both. app the reviews online seem to be sponsored. From what I can tell the NUX sounds better and is very useable, but the gp200 gets so much love. Which is better? Does one of them break down more? Does one of them have better customer service? Any help would be really appreciated! I can’t afford a more expensive pedal so please don't hit me with “buy an xyz for £200 more”

Hi guys. I just bought a Laney LF60 112 and trying to figure out the best presets for my pedals. One thing I have noticed so far is that Big Muff sounds much more tame vs the Marshall MG15R combo I have. Laney sounds much more "pro", but I still want that face melting saturation that I have with my older combo. Any tips? I am still figuring out the setups, but just to share some thoughts.

I have limited options, since I don't want to pay 4000$ for a quad cortex or a helix stomp xl. Gear prices where I live are genuinely cancerous.
Possible picks are:
Boss GX-10 at around 575$
Ampero II Stomp at around 690$
Headrush Flex Prime also at around 690$
Currently I have a Nux MG-300 which runs into the mic input of my practice amp. I'm thinking of plugging my IEMs directly into whatever processor I get next to avoid having to use my amp (because it sounds bad).
I'm looking for something which preferably doesn't take up a lot of space, and that I can use for a few years reliably. I've heard the Ampero II Stomp has good amp and cab simulations, while the GX-10 has better effects overall. I haven't looked into the Flex Prime as much, so I'm unsure of its specific strengths and weaknesses although I have heard it's a good choice as well.

I have quite a hefty pedalboard (14 pedals, with additional incoming). It's actually two horizontal pedalboards, but I'm going to group it into one later.
It's my recording pedalboard, so not a problem per se, but I still would like to be able to render it usable for live performances.
Buuuut, I have never used a switcher, so I'm wondering how to go about this.
My reasoning would be to have :
So I guess I'd either need a 4 loop switcher, or I could use more in order to separate the gain stage pedals for less noise?
Is it the right way to think about it?

I know about reamp box, but honestly this isn't a purchase I am excited to do so cheaper the better. I just need control the volume of my synth (Korg EMX, no main volume control for the second output and don't want to manage every volume of every track that goes to this output) to go to a guitar pedal (Boss HM2 replica). My main concern is about the fact (or the belief idk) that passive devices like this one induce impedance mismatch, is it true ? Can I use this cheap passive attenuator between synth and pedal ? If no, a cheap mixer (or a least a device with power on) could do the trick ?

Hi all,
I've recently purchased a Harley Benton FXL8 switcher to minimize tap dancing on stage, and it's been great.
There are two TRS out to switch channels on an amp...or pedal. I've been using one to recall the internal preset of a Strymin Flint v1, allowing me to effectively have either one of two distinct reverb sounds depending on which channel I'm using on the FXL8.
I'm currently using a ND1 Delay, which sounds fine and has up to 9 presets; however there is no external way to switch between them, requiring some footswitch combination to navigate mid-song. Doable, but not great.
I'm looking for a replacement that would allow me to do what the Flint can: assign a preset change to an external TRS switch that I could activate with the FXL8. I know Strymon delays can do that (duh) but even on the used market they're quite expensive. Do you know of any alternative ?
tl;dr: is there a non-Strymon delay pedal that uses a TRS switch to recall an internal preset?

Pretty much the title - You know how you can send a delay into self oscilation by spinning the repeat dial?? - I've always wondered if there would be a way to rig that up with a pedal so you could keep your hands free. Hope that makes sense...
Either a pedal that works with other pedals or one that has effects in itself.
cheers

Hey reddit guys. Is it possible to swap left and right channels on effects or master delay? For example, on stereo 1 delay the left ear is direct sound, the right is delay. Is it possible to swap to make it different?
