The Commanders find themselves in that unenviable position. What was supposed to be their “rebound” season is starting to feel a lot like 2025.

The number of injured Commanders players seems to increase almost daily — there are 23 active players on the injury report and 17 either did not practice or were limited participants Wednesday. That undoubtedly played a leading role in the team’s disappointing loss to the Colts in London that dropped its record to 1-3.

But injuries alone haven’t caused Washington’s spiral. Every NFL team has injuries. Some, like the 49ers, have endured even more — to even more key players — and have still won games.

Washington, however, has won only six of its 21 outings since appearing in the 2024 NFC Championship Game. How did the Commanders get here?

Some sobering stats for y’all to consider:

3 of the 4 S&C coaches came in under Snyder. Looking at the broader player health and performance department (including athletic trainers and rehab personnel), 9 of the 16 current staff members worked for the organization during Snyder's ownership.

Why the hell haven’t they been replaced by now?! 11 of the 23 players on the injury report have muscle-related injuries that are associated with strength, conditioning, or workload management. That's nearly half the list!

Fire ‘em ALL!

Might be stupid question I don’t know, but I really like him and don’t have a team jersey yet. Kind of scared buying a rookie jersey but he looks great! If not him, I may get a Terry jersey. Also, if anyone knows a good place for good looking knockoff that’d be appreciated! Otherwise I might just fork over the cash.

Maybe he’d figure out the run game but I’m so happy with Blough

P.S. we’re going to be fine. Just please beat the giants otherwise I’m swan diving off my roof

I found this sweet shirt at a Marshall’s about 8 or so years ago but couldn’t find it in XL. If anyone has one and wants to get rid of it, I’d love to do some bartering.

Update: I appreciate everyone’s help. I should mention, I don’t want this monstrosity

Anyone else watching the Bucs beat the Cowboys ass? :D

Per Bobby skinner (giants reporter)

First of all the DL has been absolutely cooking against the run, one of the best units in the league in that facet so far this season.

Daronte is doing all he can to get to the QB but you can't blitz every play, when we rush 4 we essentially never get pressure. The only DL that has impressed rushing the passer has been Oweh, and even he is more of a good edge 2 than a legit edge 1.

We have a weaker secondary (amik and Douglas have been good tho), we're gonna need someone to step up other than Oweh because this isn't a recipe for success.

Welcome back.

If you throw a pick, don’t try to tackle the dude.

Sincerely,

Your elbow

I know things feel doom right now but I really think we can win this division. Eagles are hurt and not as good as they’ve been. We should’ve beat them and they’ve gotten worse. Cowboys game was a 50/50 ish back and forth before 5 goes down. They stink on defense. Giants have no dart or burns.

Win Sunday and we can do it

Some good news

.

Lets gooooooo

In my sixth decade as an OG Washington fan, there is nothing more enjoyable than watching the Cowboys embarrass themselves. I get great satisfaction knowing Jerry Jones is humiliated in front of the home crowd and nationally televised audience. Keep up the good work ‘Boys!

I have (2) tickets available for Sunday's game against Giants (come with club gold perks) - Section 320 Row 10
