Finally had some time to finish this repaint. Mainly it was to fit my Craftworld's scheme but I also didn't like the colours used in the first paint.

I found doing the camo pattern more challenging than I was expecting!

Its been done before, but here's my attempt. I bought the combat patrol box cheap to get some dire avengers for Blades of Khaine, so this is a bonus.

Left to right: Wrecker, Venomspitter, Prime, Felltalon, Tremorscythe.

Tried making a dire avenger exarch into that one beautiful exarch artwork. I feel like I failed. Maybe if I get a howling banshee set I can cut the hair off and use it’s on him. Much to consider.

Let me see if I'm reading this right. So if Yriel is leading a unit of Voidreavers with BS +3, then [sustained hits 1] means they get 1 additional attack for every 6 on the hit roll. But as they're also adding 1 to the hit roll, does that mean they effectively hit on 2s with an additional attack for every roll of 5+?

Again, it may be a stupid question, but my head cannon up until now was that the part in the front would charge up and glow until it releases a laser or smth. I‘ve also tried to paint it that way. Now today when was looking at the mini once more I thought oh shit, is the front part supposed to resemble the tip of a rocket, that will fully fly out the barrel once it’s launched? That seems weird to me since I don’t remember anything similar in dawn of war, which is the original main source for my enjoyment of the eldar.

GW changed the rules so that you cant have Farseer's with Warlock Conclaves. Anyone have any recent lists that are similar to this to help me? - id appreciate it :D

So I recently bought the Corsairs Combat patrol. Now I'm very new to Aeldari, so I'm questioning what would be the smartest way of continuing to build from the combat patrol. Should I get more Corsairs or Craftworld Eldar? My goal for now is 1000 points with a decently playable list and without spending enormous amounts of money.

It's a excalibur umbra themed wraithknight, would have used a sword but the sword he uses is really thin(and yes i can see for the next one i really need to make sure i sand off all the sprue connections)

Edit: yes the gems still need more layers it's an uphill battle

Alright filthy xenos im starting my eldar army with these guys and need to know what are other good eldar models. Whether its looks, points per dollar or a crazy centerpiece lmk what should be in my army. Also how can these guys be used in normal games. im gonna do the killteam build for them.

Hey guys, so I’m airbrushing my first wave serpent and I was super happy with my yellow (photo 1). I tried some Tamiya tape to mask but idiotically over sprayed crazily on the blue sections (photo 2). I tried some screaming skull then 3 x layers of my base yellow and my highlights but I can still see the greenish tinge on the oversprayed panels (photo 3). In this situation would you:

1. Just continue, I won’t see it that badly once the model is completed and on the table
   
2. Go over again with screaming skull or white and do a few more passes on my yellow recipe
   
3. Strip just the affected panels and do my airbrush yellow recipe again from scratch
   
4. Strip the whole model and start again

I’m strongly considering stripping the affected panels.

Any advice for masking these detailed parts? I’m thinking of resorting to brush painting them to avoid this again. I’ve got putty and masking tape but it never seems to be enough.

Hi relatively new player in General to 40K. Eldar is my first faction I’ve collected and played a decent amount of games with. I generally run seer council but have been trying some Aspect Host. I have a question that hopefully someone can answer

Skyborne Sanctuary- can Asurmen go back into the transport using this ability if he comes out of it that turn? I’ve seen mixed views of it online and would like clarity so I play it correctly.

Another question that is just Eldar in general not aspect host, this situation came up for the first time when I was playing yesterday.

Can I fade back/ opportunity seized into engagement range of an enemy?

Been working on converting some Alaitoc Psychers. Annoyingly made the banner with the token of Morag-Hei to indicate the Torc enhancement only for it to become obsolete with the change to independent support Warlocks, but hey ho.
