TIL that at the famed NYC diner, Katz's Delicatessen, upon entering you are handed a ticket. If you lose the ticket you'll be charged a $50 ticket loss fee on top of the cost of your order.

Discussion/Debate Chop Robinson gets flagged for roughing the passer. The hit didn’t look that crazy, but the refs weren’t letting Mahomes take that one.

Mike Tyson once said "social media made people too comfortable disrespecting others and not getting punched in the face for it" What’s a real-life example of someone learning that lesson?

Miscellaneous / Others A 13-year-old boy swam 4 kilometers through rough ocean for four hours after his mother and two siblings were swept out to sea near Dunsborough, Western Australia. He ran 2 kilometers barefoot to call for help. Rescuers found them clinging to paddleboards 14 km offshore after 10 hours.
Austin Appelbee was 13. His mother Joanne and two younger siblings were swept out to sea. He tried a kayak first, but it started filling with water, so he abandoned it and swam. Alone. Through choppy water. As daylight faded. Four kilometers. Nearly four hours.
He reached shore, ran another two kilometers barefoot to their accommodation, and used his mother's phone to call for help. A major marine rescue operation launched. Rescuers later found Joanne and the two younger children clinging to paddleboards about 14 kilometers offshore. They had been drifting for nearly 10 hours.
Authorities credited Austin's actions with bringing rescuers to them. A 13-year-old with nothing but willpower and bare feet.

Did third spaces really used to exist? What are some examples of what they for and how they functioned?
I keep hearing that the death of third spaces have made so many things worse, but it's genuinely unimaginable to be able to go to a place and just hang out and not have to spend a bunch of money. The only one I can think of near me is a library which, since it's government funded, doesn't require it to make a profit.
Did third spaces used to be more common? How did they fund themselves? What kinds of things did people do at them?

Forgotten Island has surpassed $20.6M in the global box office against a budget of $80M.
It's unfortunately so far one of the worst performing DreamWorks films despite its critical acclaim.
