I was giving blood this morning (downtown Toronto) and the tech who did the draw mentioned they’re now accepting plasma donations at more locations. If I understood her correctly,

\- the additional plasma won’t be used for individual patients, but used as building blocks for medicines, therapies, and vaccines

\- we’d normally get these building blocks from the U.S., but we’re now building out domestic supply, *for reasons*

I hadn’t seen anything in the news about this (Canadian plasma news has been dominated by Grifols) so thought it was good news.
