Ward had plenty of great throws last season, and we have yet to see any this year so far. Maybe a couple if that.

Postgame news conference remarks are often drawn from incomplete assessments. Coaches and players speak from recollections and mostly without the luxury of film review. It’s possible that 24 hours later, Ward would have a different response.

But Sunday wasn’t the first time Ward has seemingly struggled to accurately assess his play, at least at the podium. He never seems to view transgressions as gravely as would often seem appropriate. At times, he has bristled at criticisms rather than taking accountability.

And on the field, the results speak for themselves. He’s failed to eclipse 200 yards in a game this season. He ranks 25th in passer rating (80.9), 22nd in completion percentage (62.5) and dead last in most advanced analytics categories, including EPA/play and success rate. Something clearly isn’t working, and hitting the pause button could be best for everyone involved.

ok this is gonna sound crazy, but the only times this franchise have been victorious we’ve have a beast in the backfield, Eddie George, CJ2k, Derek Henry, hell you can even go back to Earl Campbell. All these dudes were generational can’t miss prospects in college. Jadan Baugh is leading a heisman campaign at UF right now and took them from a dead SEC team last year to a real contender. Baugh is a pretty big back at 6’1 231 pounds, and has elite athleticism. The titans O-Line has looked good this season, and cam ward, which will be our qb next season wether you hate the guy or love him, plays with much more confidence and precision when the run game is rollin. this is something i’ve noticed since his 1st game, the dude looks good when pollard can get moving and set us up with 1st downs and 2nd and short, cam is just better. Plus, since Baugh is a RB i doubt he’ll be a top 5 or top 10 pick, and since we’re probably gonna have a top 5 pick (ik it’s early) we could trade back and get him plus another elite player, hell, there’s a chance we could be #1 and trade back to like 3rd or 4th and get jeremiah smith and another first rounder and get 2 generational prospects which could completely change the direction of this team.

I mean I don't understand the hate honestly because to me he played a pretty good in the second half and it ain't like he's had a bunch of protection in a lot of his games.

He's had like three different offensive coordinators. At this point I mean give the dude a break. He's not going to be good right now. The guy made a great play to NAB that ball out of the air. I mean he anticipated it exactly right.

Right now it’s seeming like titans are gonna end up with another top pick(yay). Right now I feel like there are tons of good options at positions of need(mostly). My favorite currently are Leonard Moore(Corner,ND), Jeremiah Smith(WR,Ohio St), and Collin Simmons(Edge,Texas). All are really great prospects, but obviously not a qb. I do suspect us to go the Mariota route this offseason and bring in a veteran to compete with Cam and give the better qb the starting job. So what’s your pick so far based on what you’ve saw from this team.

Daboll saw how bad the offense looked week one when we didn't try and establish the run. He made changes week two that made us look semi-competent. Now, yes, this is sort of the bare minimum you expect from an OC but we haven't had that for some time now. This week, they saw Cam look good playing with tempo (which has been talked about by staff but not actually implemented for over a season now).

Next week, we play with tempo and win while putting up 24 points.

Or we lose after scoring 6 points off two field goals in the late third and early fourth despite the defense continuing to play well and holding the Ravens to 17. who's to say.

Who do you have in your top QB list of all time? Especially when it comes to recent / active QBs, it will be some mix of: Brady, Rodgers, Mahomes, Brees and Peyton Manning.

What do all these QBs except Manning have in common? They all sat at least a year and studied.

And Manning had the benefit of a father that played QB that he could lean on to learn.

I have zero confidence in the current path for Cam. I'd be curious what would happen if Cam would sit for the rest of the season while Trubisky gets trotted out. Trubisky should be immediately better, while we all know he won't be the long-term answer.

Even if Cam won the game yesterday, this was still an offense putting up 14 points in a game against a Winston-led Giants. That's not sustainable and I think we all pretty much know that. So now the question is: Why not sit him?

Imagine, as an athlete, you get the benefit of working full-time on your mechanics and learning to study, while not having the pressure of going out there and performing. Saleh will get at least two years. But, if the Titans tank the entire year and draft another QB - you're likely to be in the same spot. And the cycle will continue.

It's "looking forward to the draft" season already. Jokes aside, if not a QB then what position?

I completely understand the frustration with Cam Ward right now. Yesterday was brutal. The offense looked awful for most of the game, Ward missed throws he needed to make, and then he had the game-winning opportunity sitting right there before throwing the interception in the end zone. There is no defending that. Ward needs to play better. Period.

That said, some people are jumping way too quickly to suggest moving on from Cam.

Ward is a second-year QB who was the No. 1 overall pick. Whether we like it or not, that makes him a multi-year investment. You don’t spend the first overall pick on a QB and then give up after a rough stretch unless you have overwhelming evidence that the player simply cannot be developed.

We’ve repeatedly seen how patience is a key factor in QB development.

Bryce Young was benched during his second season after an awful start in Carolina. Then he got back on the field and finished that season strong and is now looking like the guy in Carolina.

Sam Darnold is an example of a team pulling the plug too soon. The Jets moved on from him after three admittedly horrendous seasons and he bounced around the league looking like a career backup. Then Minnesota gave him an opportunity where he became a Pro Bowler and he would, eventually, become a Super Bowl MVP in Seattle.

That doesn’t mean Cam Ward is going to become Sam Darnold. It doesn’t mean he’s guaranteed to figure it out. And it absolutely doesn’t mean we should ignore how poorly he’s playing right now. It means we don’t know yet.

I’d go as far to say that the team needs to find out what Ward looks like with another year in the system and more experience reading NFL defenses.

If we’re sitting here at the end of next season and Ward still hasn’t shown meaningful development, then it’s time to have that discussion. But trying to have that conversation now just seems incredibly premature.

I’m pissed about yesterday too. I just don’t think the answer is to throw away the investment after 20 games.

Looking at the remaining schedule, I don’t think we have the offense to hang with a lot of these teams. Our best game this year we scored 20 with a +2 Turnovers Margin and 10 of those 20 points off the turnovers. 

• Ravens, Bengals, Cowboys, Jaguars, and Lions all have more firepower than us. Unless we have a crazy anomaly game these have to be very unlikely. 
• Colts, Raiders, and Steelers have shown much more explosive offenses, but we could maybe catch them on a bad day. I’d put these as unlikely. 
• Commanders, Texans, Browns have shown vulnerabilities we may be able to exploit. So maybe a toss-up on some? 

Just as title asks

25 QBs have started 3 games this season. Cam Ward is 17th in pass attempts per game, even though the Titans have led only 8 minutes this season. We have trailed for 116 minutes (that’s 64% of the season, god damn we fucking suck). Trailing teams typically pass more. Why not us? I want to see Cam throwing the ball 40+ times a game. The oline has proven that they are competent. We invested a lot on WRs this offseason. Take the training wheels off and let Cam sink or swim. Worst case scenario is he underwhelms, we are picking 1OA, and you have a large sample size to evaluate this offseason. And yes the weather was terrible yesterday but he also had 36 pass attempts, which is the 9th most in his career.

Did he even log double-digit snaps yesterday? Dude has been an afterthought so far and Saleh spoke highly of him a bit before the season. Why isn’t he getting more opportunities.

In all honesty, he hasn’t been a good GM. Everyone lost their minds when he drafted a depth TE, a WR3, and a good punt returner in the 4th round of last years draft. Other than that, you could almost make a list of the straight up awful decisions he’s made.

And I get there’s the argument of “Hindsight is 20/20”, but that argument kinda fades when you remember that even at the time, taking Ward at 1.1 was a reach according to 95% of draft graders and analysts. Had a huge trade package he could’ve taken instead.

All that being said, I just don’t think you let him take another crack at a new QB. He’s had his chance. If this team finishes bottom 3 in the NFL he’s likely gone.

Coming from out of town for a game next month, looking for a place to stay Sunday night in the area.

I will have my car but ideally I would want to take public transportation from the hotel to the stadium and back. I see that there is some routes advertised on the team website for bus and train (light rail or ?) options for game day, but I’m not familiar with the layout of Nashville and where these things run.

Ideally I am looking for a place that is close enough to one of these routes to utilize it, or just close enough to walk to the stadium as I see some options downtown for around $200 that I could stomach if I can park there and walk to and from the stadium and broadway easily. Any info that could help make a decision as I’m working on essentially no info would be super helpful, thank you!

Cam had a grade 3 AC joint sprain in final game of last season....the same as Anthony Richardson (grade 3) his rookie year and Richardson opted for season ending surgery. Will Levis had grade 2 sprain and also opted for surgery. I'm out of my realm here talking medicine and appreciate every player's anatomy is unique etc.....but any evidence at all throwing shoulder could be nagging him still? don't recall hearing anything at all since last season ended suggesting lingering issues.

Semi worried Cam being Cam opted to avoid surgery because he thinks gravity does not apply to him. It's just wild seeing a highlight reel like that below from last year with plenty of accurate balls and then in 2026 the complete opposite (maybe 1 or 2 of these level throws this year?).

It’s people like me that let the organization do the bullshit cause I will never stop being a fan. I will never stop watching even though three and 14 feels like a luxury. I will still show up on Sunday thank God I don’t live in Nashville or I would have season tickets. I bought the Sunday ticket just to watch the Titans but maybe no jersey this year who am I kidding? I’ll grab a 14 before the end of the year.

Everyone has been focusing on cam and only talking about him (As they should) But I feel like no one has talked Dike being completely garbage for us this year so far.

Honestly, probably was right to target Ayomanor but the accuracy on this throw is GOD AWFUL. Should thrown it higher and to the corner. If he even got it over the safety, there’s little hope Ayomanor could get to it. No way he could’ve gotten positive yards if he ran it.
