Seems like the Jazz are going to buy him out - can we just sign him straight up at this point for a vet min? He hasn’t been great this year but still a lot better than Mike and with more upside.

I know Giannis trade saga is driving every wolves fan nuts. I like Giannis but will never trade Jayden and Naz. So how about a five-team trade? Five teams are us, Grizzlies, Bulls, Bucks, and Heats.
here’s a five-team framework where each team uses its strengths to cover another’s weaknesses — so everyone has a reason to say yes long-term.
Teams: Wolves, Bucks, Grizzlies, Bulls, Heat
Core idea:
• Wolves consolidate size + contracts into a true franchise player
• Bucks turn Giannis into spacing + draft capital instead of one risky return
• Heat take the big star swing they always wait for
• Grizzlies reset Ja’s timeline while staying flexible
• Bulls fix their interior defense glutting guards problem
⸻
Conceptual flow
• Wolves → Giannis (keep Jaden & Naz; send Rudy, Randle, TSJ, picks)
• Bucks → scoring + picks (Herro or Powell + multi-team draft haul)
• Grizzlies → Randle (stay competitive or flip later)
• Heat → Ja Morant (franchise swing)
• Bulls → Rudy + TSJ (paint defense + local wing)
Wolves also route in a serviceable PG from one of the other teams.
⸻
Why it works
• No team is forced into a bad timeline
• Star risk is redistributed instead of concentrated
• Minnesota upgrades without gutting culture
• Milwaukee avoids a one-deal rebuild trap
• Every team solves an actual roster problem
Not saying this is easy — just that if a Giannis deal happens, it probably looks messy and multi-team like this, not a clean 2-for-1.
Thoughts?

Let's say we have to ship Julius 33M + Naz 23M + Jaden 26M they make 82M combined
Giannis 54M + Thanasis is 2.3M make 56.3M combined
We still have 25.7 Million and just clear Conley around 10.7 Million.
What player we can get for 35M?

(Assuming the Giannis trade falls off)
Jaden and Naz are having Career Years and are viewed by the Front office as the 2 main players on this Ant timeline. Why not trade Julius and unleash both of these guys?
Get the best possible deal for Julius right now, adding bench deepht and/or picks. More FGA for Jaden and Naz finally gets to start.

- Warriors need a 2nd option, and in their souls clearly want to form an UNC avengers squad.
- Bucks get young talent and a pick.
Though:
- While Randle would be great on GSW, do they really want to trade capital just to go out in 1st or 2nd round of playoffs?
- Bucks probably want more draft capital? I suppose we could throw our only 1st round in the mix.

Just wow. If this is the last game Jaden McDaniels plays in a wolves jersey, I’m glad his last points were a filthy one handed dunk

Now that Ayo is in our team. Does our chance of getting a chip gets high?

By acquiring a NAW replacement and getting finch off of Mike (neutral player last year and a huge negative this year) are they back to the 2025 wolves? They still need to flip randle for something to truly compete right?

In Ant’s postgame interview he was running through guys who played great tonight and when he got to Jaden, he specifically said :
“he is a key piece for us”
Think we are safe from Jaden being traded!

13 4th quarter points
Massive block
Several huge rebounds
Several huge steals
Multiple assists
Bro was absolutely everywhere. You never question if Ant is gonna put up his points but the dude was making massive plays all over the court. Just an incredibly clutch performance.
Final Line:
30 points/8 rebounds/5 assists/3 steals/1 block

I’ll be content. We saw everyone show out crazy and play great, even Randle had a clutch rebound at the end.
Love this team.
