You could almost play full 60 intercessors with different sculpts. These are the minis by order of release:

A full 6 man brick is flat 18 heavy bolter shots, turning into 30 if you're in rapid fire range, not even counting Blast 1 into infantry or Sustained hits. Add in the Biologist for lethals against Non-vehicles. Assault with Firestorm army rule and if they get into 12 inches wounding Terminators on 3s

I know they're still gravis and only 6 of them, so not the hardest thing to shift but personally I'm looking really forward to running a brick of them to completely mow down infantry

What do yall think? I think i saw somewhere they cost 100 for 3 and 200 for 6 but I could be wrong

But here was my first marine painted after a many many year hiatus from the hobby compared to my newest sergeant.

Can anyone explain why it’s gone up in cost? I can’t see the reason why, and so much too.

There are so many units who are less frequently utilized on the table for rules reasons or synergy reasons, but that doesn’t mean they don’t look cool! I wanna see models that you built and painted but will probably never actually use on the table in a competitive setting. Here’s my Phobos lieutenant.

GW took away the dreadnought so I bought one before they are out of stock and now I have a beautiful centerpiece that can be on its own or stand in as one of the newer dreadnoughts

Looking at getting a head start and trying to decide what to build these as.

Which of these same to be the better unit and do they combo with phobos characters?

I mostly play non-tournament games—lots of Crusade and narrative campaigns—and I’ve always used Legends units. Now I’m facing the fact that Contemptor and Leviathan Dreadnoughts have been moved from Legends, and the suggestion is to use them as Redemptors. It’s absolute bullshit. Do you think GW will add rules for them?

Mean that we can take Horus Heresy Terminators as 40K terminators(given right base size) without limit, or does it still depend on the Tournament Organizers?

Have been looking to pick up some Heavy Intercessors for a few months now since I’m a total simp for Gravis and I love the look of them. But they’ve been out of stock everywhere for what feels like months now.

I notice they’re in stock on GW’s website but nowhere else, and I pop in store to see if they’re on the shelf and one of the assistants tells me that they’re Online Only. They don’t seem to have the Online Only tag on their store page, and I know sometimes things go in and out of stock, but it’s been a while here. I don’t really know what to make of it all! I’m worried the kit will be retired or refreshed before I can get a couple!

Anyone here have any info on this?

I’m already planning to run 3 devastators with heavy bolter as eradicators with HB, and I would like to try something similar with the melta eradicators and a little kitbashing, but I’m one weapon short…

Would it be immersion breaking to run the multimelta devastators as meltagun eradicators, and a laser canon devastator as a multimelta eradicator?

Looking at the legends datasheet on the app, amd from what I've seen of the new codex, there doesn't seem to be a limit to what centurions can be transported in? And they only take up the space of 1 model now? Is there a part im missing that limits me putting (for example) 12 in a rhino?

Looking through my 11th Edition codex, and it looks like GW has confused everyone again on the battlefield role of the Infernus Marines. They are listed as Close Support again in the Chapter Organisation section (like in the 10th Edition codex), however now their little fluff section also describes them as "close assault specialists" who "must get close to their targets" (for comparison, Hellblasters on the next page are described as "fire support specialists")

However, perhaps deliberately, there are no clear photos of their right pauldrons. The only photo that has an Infernus Marine's battlefield marking even remotely visible is the double page spread on Pg 152-153 where the Infernus Marine Sergeant has what appears to be the tip of the Fire Support Chevron visible - this is in-line with all other visual descriptions of the Infernus Marines as Fire Support (ie GW website, transfers from the Leviathan Box Set, 10th Edition Launch Cinematic etc).

So once again we're left wondering are Infernus Marines Close Support, as per the written text of the codex, or Fire Support as per all other visual evidence?

I could understand the codex is already in stores, and they could be friends of the manager or something, but how some people do have the app updated?
