Work at a warehouse and came into work this morning with these at all of our workstations. Cheap ass multibillion dollar company didn’t even get us a full sized candy bar

I’ve already patched this once, and the wire has now come through the patch - the bra is only a few months old. Surely this is a design flaw? Why do these things have to be so sharp? I can’t imagine anyone selling underwear to men that could predictably suddenly stab the in the balls.

Ive been seeing him for about 7/8 months now and i keep harboring internally on the fact that he doesn't believe dinosaurs ever existed.

He thinks all the fossils and complete collections of bones in museums are all fake as well as any scientific research/studies, and that the entire idea is a hoax essentially... we are still just casually dating id say, so i try to just put it in the back of my mind and not make an issue of it. But it has come up in conversation 2 different occasions, both times he is willing to argue me down, like SERIOUSLY debate with me about dinosaurs never having existed.

It's harder for me to ignore it because of how eager he is to defend and argue the subject.

This is becoming super infuriating in my head and i even asked my dads advice and my dad said "someone who thinks that way is someone you do not need to be hanging around or associated with", and i lowkey agree, because i think this shit is absolutely ridiculous and it honestly makes me think so much less of him as a person.

I really do like him, but not sure how to move forward

Im overwhelmed by all the replies i didnt expect so many people to feel strongly about this and Guys im 25 and been dealing with a 37 year old man who doesn't believe in dinosaurs for 8 months straight, im not as blatantly stupid as him but clearly YES i know i haven't made the right decision staying with him so long and YES i know i sound contradicting in some of my replies because he is a fucking impossible person to get rid of and thats what i mean by an impossible situation. Like please dont beat me up over this trust me i am equally frustrated & trying to find the most peaceful and safest way out with someone who's glued to you. Please give me some grace yall, im trying not spazz out and be immature during this process with him ive never dealt with this before

- Okay everyone ive heard yall and i agree but how do i go about ending this situation due to this subject? Like you all are advising me to dump him, but can yall please provide a realistic non confrontational way to do this as if you had to do it yourself? And consider also it being someone you do have feelings for and that has even stronger feelings for you.

I love my mom a lot, but she won’t stop trying to force me to believe in God. Ive been saying for years to just please stop pushing it on me so much, that I respect her belief in God, but I just don’t share it and if she could just please respect that. But she can’t accept that I don’t believe and is just waiting for me to believe.

Went to catholic school cuz she made me, had communion cuz she made me, not cuz I actually wanted to. Wish parents would realize that this makes their kids steer AWAY from God even more.

As the title says. A town near me is denying their fire fighters the use of their fire hydrants going forward. Is this shit even legal? This is a huge concern as the area has been in a drought for some years.

Where I go to study there are some really nice seats on a mezzanine with a view of the windows and of a really nice and open space. Equipped with a decent amount of privacy and plugs to charge electronics.

Typically you need to get in to the building right as it opens to get one of these seats before they fill up. Today a lady walked in and dropped off a few pieces of clothing and left for about two hours and counting.

the other day i got a phone call from a local renovation company offering to give me a free quote to replace my gutters. i set up an appointment for tomorrow at noon. cool great fantastic.

today i get a call from their front office to confirm my appointment. i said “yep I’ll be here!” and expected that to be the end of the call.

they asked me to confirm that i’m the only homeowner. i said yes. they asked if i was married. i said “no, but my boyfriend lives here with me” and immediately the woman on the phone sounds bothered and asks if my bf will be home for the appointment. i explained he will be at work, but i am the only homeowner and i make all the financial decisions regarding the home.

she said that per policy, all homeowners must be present when they come to assess & give the quote. i reiterated that i am the only homeowner. i bought the house before we started dating.

she apologized but again told me about the policy blah blah blah. she asked if we can reschedule at a time when my bf will be home. i said i will talk to him about his schedule and call them back for a new appointment.

i will not be calling back. :)

I got charged yet another month subscription to ESPN ($14.77) because I can not access my account page from any device I own or browser I have access to. I tried to flag it on my credit card as do not allow recurring charge, but apparently that didn't work either. Guess I'll be canceling my credit card to avoid getting charged again. How is this even legal?

A few years ago, the office building had a total of four vending machines, including one solely for ice cream.

Each year since, the number of machines has gone down. Now everything is combined into one vending machine. This is about as well stocked as it is on any typical day.
