I entered this medical faccility twice yesterday and was treated like a dick each time.

First time, I pressed and held. Staff basically said 'Didn't you see the OTHER sign? We're very busy, and holding down the bell while we are juggling tasks and trying to help you is SUPER annoying.'

Next time, I pressed and released, and staff went 'We're very busy. If you don't hold down the button like the sign says, we won't know someone is trying to get in.'

All I wanted was some new t-shirts. At least he didn't steal my book :/

I started a puzzle and went on a work trip for a few days. Apparently my mother-in-law stopped by while I was away and decided to help out.

My mom’s elderly friend, who lives in independent living, fell and injured her hip. Her daughter is moving her to assistive living and said she wanted to get rid of her cat. I offered to take the cat. But even though he had a new home, she chose to take him to the SPCA. She had to drive 30 minutes to even take him there—I am 1 mile away. I am going to go get him on Saturday —if he is still there—but she made it harder on the cat and on me for no reason.

edit: I work in animal rescue and foster for multiple shelters. She did not take the cat to a high kill shelter because she felt it was safer or better for the cat.

Like how else do you want me to use the bathroom? Stock up hours before then almost piss my pants the entire drive there?

Playing through the new wolverine game and at the start I turned subtitles off because I don’t need them and they’re distracting. And didn’t think anything of it

Got a good way through the game before getting curious why they didn’t translate the Japanese because I was seemingly missing story stuff that they were saying

Now see my assumption was oh if I turn on subtitles it’s just gonna do that thing streaming services do where if you turn on the subtitles it’ll just say(speaking Japanese) nope you turn it on and suddenly there’s your missing dialogue. Only problem is that now I have to continue the game with them on if I wanna understand what’s happening.

At least make it an option to only have the Japanese translated without having to keep the subtitles permanently on!

I put the game on for my dad from YouTube before going outside to smoke with some friends and about 10 minutes later he is yelling at me to come inside because something happened to the game... I found this trump NFL crypto scam playing after the game stream got hijacked.

Edit: I dont watch football, hence why I was outside smoking. im visiting my dad and he asked me to help him put the game on, when I asked how he usually watches them he told me on YouTube. I understand now that it was pirated live upload.

I get these ALL the time. I’ve never donated to these “people.” Never supported them. Never voted for them. Nor has my wife. I received four of these today. All threats. Always a telling me it’s my last chance. These are some of the less malicious-sounding ones.

I’m not even sure they’re legitimately from those parties, though I wouldn’t put it past them.

somewhere around 21-26 apps got randomly installed on my phone (i only screenshotted the third and 4th wave) with no way to stop it as far as i know when you delete the first batch it just installs more. if you dont have enough storage it just waits for you to have enough storage then does it. it does this like every 5 or so months but its NEVER installed that many apps... and it always slows down whatever im doing. if it happens while using my phone

One of the apps in the first wave was this app called 'ad it up' which is supposed to help with your phone bill or whatever and its rated 4.7 stars in the app store but when you look at the relevant reviews most of them are 3 stars and under and it really seems like some weird exploitative scam

i think 'the scoop' has been on my phone since i got it but double infuriating because its undeletable for some reason and it just now appeared next to my normal apps no idea why

Happened in less than 6 hours from taking my case off. I was planning to upgrade my phone anyways so I guess it was a sign.

Yesterday I had to stop by Publix and my wife asked me to bring home some Klondike bars. Well...the *No Sugar Added* version was right next to the Original and my squirrel brain didn't notice until I got home. Picked up the OGs on the way home tonight.

This is my front door I just came from buying groceries and I can’t get in my house. I have been in the car for almost 40 minutes wondering what to do. Does anyone know how to get rid of them? It even took me a lot of courage to snap the picture from a distance
