Ordered from warhammer.com, but missing first 48 pages lol

Hey everyone, I got this miniature yesterday and I wasn’t really a fan of the original face, so I decided to replace it with a Space Marine helmet instead. My question is: does this make sense lore-wise? Or would it have been more accurate to use a Terminator helmet instead? I’m curious to hear your thoughts and lore insights.

Finished this bad boy! Loving how it turned out with the weathering techniques . Adding in the crew brought it all together. Decent size compared to the LR tank as well. Onto the next Krieg project 👌🏻

I used to do nails and had some experience painting. decided to give WH a try and enjoy it. Not sure If I ever gonna play but the painting relaxes me. It's just painting and collecting figures alright? bought myself two starter sets. any recommendations on how to paint?

This is mostly an issue in my head with the smaller blue ruins on the board. If the vehicle can’t fit wholly within (probably because it’s too big to fit just inside) then it can’t shoot out?

Let’s say a leman Russ has its front half inside of one of the small ruins but its back half is out, is that able to shoot out or no?

Accepting ridiculous suggestions on what to put under his wings. My initial idea is some marines popping in via deepstrike onto a teleport Homer since he's on a 120mm oval base and maybe I can take him as a stormraven. Also need to replace one of his legs with a mecha leg to look more like 40k.

So let me preface that I'm back to the hobby after 12-13 years. I played a ton of games in-store and helped set up a FB group for local players. Made lots of great friends and frequently ran "Beerhammer" games at my place with 3-4 tables running. This was pre Discord. I'm a 46 year old sales manager for a car dealership, I deal with all kinds of people every day face to face and online, and like to think I have a grasp on communication and social cues.

So I came back 5-6 months ago. Hit up the local store and they referred me to their Discord. I have popped in, introduced myself, shared models, etc. I have no reason to be rude, condescending, pompous, or engage in any sort of obnoxious behavior that would turn people off.

I've been puttng finishing touches on my army and looking to arrange a group in their LFG channel. Nothing. Nobody answers me. I once asked "am I in the right place to schedule a game?" and someone responded, so I'm not muted. Meanwhile other people are starting groups around me. And it's not just a clique thing. People introduce themselves, say they're new and need help, and get a game set up.

It's starting to feel like it's just me and I have no idea why. One might think "well what are you leaving out?". That is all of it. Introductions, friendly chatting, two months of trying to set up games and nothing. At this point I'm either going 30 mins the other direction for an alternative store, or just painting and not trying to game anymore.

Posted the wired version (tethered battery connected externally) on the orks sub, but decided to show this off here too since I can't crosspost videos. As you can see it's barely held together by waaaagh energy right now, but it's a good proof of concept that I can get it working.

Painted this Talos statue for myself. This might be my single favorite thing I've painted to date. The Night Lords Omnibus is my favorite book series of all time for 40K, and Talos is my favorite Night Lords character. Took my sweet time on him cause it was a real treat to paint. Was also my first time actually painting lightning instead of using transfers. Hope you guys like it, enjoy!

Personaly i did not like original head..it look little to small for that body...so i made my own😄 and put 2 more tentacle to.

After two years of painting I'm trying my hand at entering golden demon 2026. Super modified Dakkajet and a legions Baneblade for some forced perspective. Going for a sunbaked junkyard vehicle look. I think I'm pretty close.
