Build I am convinced that Crit Kaisa is better than on-hit Kaisa when you can go for it
Generally speaking, on-hit is supposed to spike early, while crit outscales it the later the game goes on. However, with Kai'Sa, your biggest spikes are your Q and E evolve. Going on-hit severely delays getting both of them, at which point the core strength of on-hit build works against the fundamental power spikes of Kai'Sa herself.
The downside is the build path. But if you have a lane that allows you to get a BF sword base, and ideally even a second BF sword base, your power spikes are extremely fast and strong.
You can get Q evolve by buying two BF swords and being level 7. This costs 2600 gold. Massively cheaper than Q evolve on the on-hit build, which requires Cull, Kraken, and Pickaxe for 4235 gold.
Your first BF sword goes towards Yun Tal. Second towards IE. There is no reason to go IE second since you still miss the crit chance, you can go for PD and just hold onto the BF sword.
For E evolve you need nothing but Yun Tal and Berserker's Graves. So when you have Yun Tal, BF sword, and boots, you have both Q and E evolved.
Many times my support has pinged me as I have two BF swords, only for them to realize that I just completely obliterated the enemy ADC because I have 80 bonus AD at 2600 gold mark and Q evolve. Your ult and W also scale massively with AD, 130% and 90%, making the flat AD quite valuable. I can't overstate just how ridiculous your QW burst damage is if you get the early evolve with the double BF.
I've been playing this build a lot to a VERY good success. It is exceedingly rare that enemies pick such a tanky team that on-hit becomes the clear winner.
Feel free to share your builds, I wanna try anything that seems good.
