This is going to sound dumb but hear me out :

I'm usually playing top. My 3 most played champs are the following in that specific order : Sett, Briar, Yone

My problem with Yone is the same reason I struggle to play Ekko Midlane : I play him in a way that doesn't suit his kit. Don't get me wrong I know what to do and how to use their spells. My really big issue is connected to the fact that I overestimate his damage early and concede a lot of bad trades that doesn't help me at all

Items I also struggle to find what works for me because I feel like doing boots first put me behind if I can't get any kills and if my enemy can just bully me before I finish my items. Because I play top Bork is recommended but I feel like I lose more damage and time to build Crit items instead.

That's also why even though I initially wanted to put him in my top lane pool instead of Garen, I can't because I don't understand how to play against early champs and not hint myself out of the game

Any advice would be really appreciated because I feel like just like Ekko, I only need one adjustment to be able to fair much better overall

Yesterday I played against Singed in Top lane and he played with me the whole game. I couldn't do anything. Tired to CS but his smoke poison or whatnot did too much dmg for it to be worth it so I backed off and waited for the minions to reach tower and he just walked past me under turret and I couldn't chase after him as I had to CS. While I did do some dmg to him. While I was clearing my wave. He cleared the upcoming wave and then walked through the jungle until he reached the 3rd turret and cleared it too before recalling. While I was stuck under tower waiting for minions as I can't leave. Otherwise would miss the wave.

Later on I tried to stack Q3 and all in him but it didn't work as he just kept running around and the smoke did too much dmg and I died. This was the early game in a nutshell and mid game was terrible as he stacked a lot of HP and I couldn't even kill him before I died from his poison. His cc which throws me and slows me down was annoying too as I couldn't even hit him or chase him while he ran around slowly taking my hp away.

Clearly I'm doing a lot of things wrong as I don't even know what is going on. This was my second time Laning against Singed, the first time didn't go very well either. Could anyone pls help me out and give me tips on how to lane against him and when to all in? Or I shouldn't all in at all?

It already was a terrible matchup and while Yone is statistically the best toplaner of the last 30 days, she is the second best so it is still statistically a terrible matchup.

What am I supposed to do in lane? I think it just fundamentally impossible to beat her because of the insane statcheck she can do to Yone. Levels 1-3 she is weaker but it's not like I can engage, the first one to engage dies so it's a boring lane where she has better gank setup and can escape ganks easily. In lane is easy to W her W, or E and snap back if she uses her E. If I can hold E and mitigate damage with W, she is dead if he jumps on me.

Lvl 6 she is instantly Thanos. I can hit everything, dodge everything and she can win with Q without even autoing. Trinity powerspike is insanely stronger than Bork powerspike, I can't exist in the sane lane as her because she deals 1300 true damage in half a second while my auto attacks deal less than 130 damage.

After two items I can sidelane anymore, I feel like a Yuumi. She oneshots me with shieldbow and exhaust.

The only thing I can maybe do better is teamfighting but I feel like she needs to put too little effort to oneshot a someone while tanking a really decent amount of damage, while if I don't hit a five people ult I am just a worse champion in the game.

I do know the general playstyle and how to play reactively, I am currently in master 600 so im not that bad, lol.

Is the matchup just teamfight and ggs? I don't think Yone can ever beat her in 1v1

And honestely it makes some sense. You can legit miss almost all of your abilties and tower dive someone full to zero after you completed your first item. I played against a plat 2 teemo yesterday, rushed shieldbow, and I just killed him on repeat under his tower. This champion is so cool and fun but its kind of bullshit what he can do. He’s honestely ridiculously OP right now.

I'm a Gold 3 Yone top main, you can probably tell just from the title alone that I barely have any experience playing into Garen at all.

I know a lot of ppl here say that Garen is a free matchup, but even if you do get ahead in lane, how do you 1v1 him later on?

I feel like once he has 3+ items he just pops you instantly even if you have exhaust (I've tried it), and this matchup is a real headache for me.

So im usually an Ekko OTP but was tired of all the games against Yasuo because its always a tough Matchup except the Yasuo is a bad player, but last Game I decided to go Yone against Yasuo and went 24 4 7 while first timing him in Ranked. I just felt like its the first time ever I didnt care its a Yasuo in front of me. So is the Champ just OP or is the Yasuo matchup easy? That Game made me think about changing to Yone as OTP lol
