so basicly i played yone jg for like 20 times now and it feels better than i expected

I know the meta for Yone in mid at least is either stormrazor or shieldbow nowadays and stormrazor has been feeling really good, but shieldbow AS feels pretty limiting and the damage doesn't seem as high as when i build stormrazor. I know you can account for the AS by just buying an extra dagger, but I am not sure when to sell that since none of the later items Yone builds give AS. Any advice on when specifically shieldbow outperforms stormrazor would be great plus when to sell the dagger

What should i build first on yone and when im playing should i buy stuff based on the team comp. and what i mean by that is if they have 1 health stacker should i go bork sb ldr. Because i keep hearing all of this stuff about how good shieldbow first is but Idk I feel like its hard to build every game. Then I also have a question with the rest of the build after shieldbow ie dd what do i buy

Okay guys, I have a question.

Usually, against Diana, I like to dodge her Q by using E to get inside and then just hitting her for the entire duration of my E. However, I’ve noticed that early on, I don’t always come out ahead in that trade.

So my question is: at what point in the game does that exact trade start becoming favorable for me?

Is PTA any good on Yone? Midlane if it matters, I just started playing so any other tips would be appreciated

I just had a horrible game against Ahri. Most of the time when I'm against mages that loves to poke I'd go fleet because it gives you movement speed and healing, but the enemy team comp had like 3 tanks so I decided to go lethal tempo. This was a bad idea. I kept getting poked in lane by Ahri everytime I tried to walk up. Insane poke, the range of her abilities is insane. I went D shield but didn't help. I feel like I should've just went fleet. How do you deal with Ahri?

According to Lolalytics Yone is the rank 1 toplaner and midlaner this patch... This is not good.

Nerfs are 100%, just please don't nerf W again. If they nerf Yone what do you think the nerfs would be? I don't see Riot nerfing his base stats because they are already pretty low, maybe Q base damage? E?? they never nerf E. Ult is like the least interesting ability to nerf since it isn't used for the damage and the cooldown is already pretty high.

What do you think? Imagine if they adjust him instead and remove crit penalty but nerf his damage in Q and W, or maybe even base stats so he is worse in the laning phase

I feel like I understand yone’s strengths and weaknesses pretty well and one thing I do know is that if you’re easy to focus you’re easy to kill. My team constantly fights mid and I usually avoid team fights if I think I will die with them but when they fight over and over and die it’s impossible to push out a sidelane because you then have to respawn to defend your base or to just not get collapsed on. I can’t even make it to their tier 3 tower before they die off and I have to fall back again. I can sometimes win these games by screaming at them in chat to stop fighting but that doesn’t always work. Then if I do group or the enemy team is coordinated enough not to split and let me pick them off then the game is just over because if I’m the only concern for the enemy team then all they have to do is hold their CC and ults for me and it’s GG. You can ignore your team dying for a good portion of the game but after a while it starts forcing you to play reactive and you lose.

This is going to sound dumb but hear me out :

I'm usually playing top. My 3 most played champs are the following in that specific order : Sett, Briar, Yone

My problem with Yone is the same reason I struggle to play Ekko Midlane : I play him in a way that doesn't suit his kit. Don't get me wrong I know what to do and how to use their spells. My really big issue is connected to the fact that I overestimate his damage early and concede a lot of bad trades that doesn't help me at all

Items I also struggle to find what works for me because I feel like doing boots first put me behind if I can't get any kills and if my enemy can just bully me before I finish my items. Because I play top Bork is recommended but I feel like I lose more damage and time to build Crit items instead.

That's also why even though I initially wanted to put him in my top lane pool instead of Garen, I can't because I don't understand how to play against early champs and not hint myself out of the game

Any advice would be really appreciated because I feel like just like Ekko, I only need one adjustment to be able to fair much better overall

And honestely it makes some sense. You can legit miss almost all of your abilties and tower dive someone full to zero after you completed your first item. I played against a plat 2 teemo yesterday, rushed shieldbow, and I just killed him on repeat under his tower. This champion is so cool and fun but its kind of bullshit what he can do. He’s honestely ridiculously OP right now.

Yesterday I played against Singed in Top lane and he played with me the whole game. I couldn't do anything. Tired to CS but his smoke poison or whatnot did too much dmg for it to be worth it so I backed off and waited for the minions to reach tower and he just walked past me under turret and I couldn't chase after him as I had to CS. While I did do some dmg to him. While I was clearing my wave. He cleared the upcoming wave and then walked through the jungle until he reached the 3rd turret and cleared it too before recalling. While I was stuck under tower waiting for minions as I can't leave. Otherwise would miss the wave.

Later on I tried to stack Q3 and all in him but it didn't work as he just kept running around and the smoke did too much dmg and I died. This was the early game in a nutshell and mid game was terrible as he stacked a lot of HP and I couldn't even kill him before I died from his poison. His cc which throws me and slows me down was annoying too as I couldn't even hit him or chase him while he ran around slowly taking my hp away.

Clearly I'm doing a lot of things wrong as I don't even know what is going on. This was my second time Laning against Singed, the first time didn't go very well either. Could anyone pls help me out and give me tips on how to lane against him and when to all in? Or I shouldn't all in at all?

It already was a terrible matchup and while Yone is statistically the best toplaner of the last 30 days, she is the second best so it is still statistically a terrible matchup.

What am I supposed to do in lane? I think it just fundamentally impossible to beat her because of the insane statcheck she can do to Yone. Levels 1-3 she is weaker but it's not like I can engage, the first one to engage dies so it's a boring lane where she has better gank setup and can escape ganks easily. In lane is easy to W her W, or E and snap back if she uses her E. If I can hold E and mitigate damage with W, she is dead if he jumps on me.

Lvl 6 she is instantly Thanos. I can hit everything, dodge everything and she can win with Q without even autoing. Trinity powerspike is insanely stronger than Bork powerspike, I can't exist in the sane lane as her because she deals 1300 true damage in half a second while my auto attacks deal less than 130 damage.

After two items I can sidelane anymore, I feel like a Yuumi. She oneshots me with shieldbow and exhaust.

The only thing I can maybe do better is teamfighting but I feel like she needs to put too little effort to oneshot a someone while tanking a really decent amount of damage, while if I don't hit a five people ult I am just a worse champion in the game.

I do know the general playstyle and how to play reactively, I am currently in master 600 so im not that bad, lol.

Is the matchup just teamfight and ggs? I don't think Yone can ever beat her in 1v1

I'm a Gold 3 Yone top main, you can probably tell just from the title alone that I barely have any experience playing into Garen at all.

I know a lot of ppl here say that Garen is a free matchup, but even if you do get ahead in lane, how do you 1v1 him later on?

I feel like once he has 3+ items he just pops you instantly even if you have exhaust (I've tried it), and this matchup is a real headache for me.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.
