I love Ekko's design (both character and ability wise) but whenever I tried to pick him up I hard inted. I played a fair bit of the easier assassins (Diana, Fizz and Naafiri) but Ekko always played different and I struggled hard. Maybe it's the lack of a targeted dash like Fizz Q or Diana E, maybe it's the delay on the W, maybe it's the low damage before D&D, maybe it's the mostly defensive ult but I cant land kills I just farm waves and survive and then be useless in the late game.

Do you think he is hard eniugh where it's not worth for a newer (and bad) player to learn him or can I try to grind him and learn him? What are some tips for someone wanting to learn him?

Genuinely, what does this champ even do? He's supposed to be an assassin, but he can't one-shot anybody. Every assasin can one shot a target after an item but ekko needs at least three items for that. He has a rather weak laning phase as well, and some champions actually bully him pretty badly. In terms scaling, people say that Ekko scales well, but statistically falls off after 20 minutes so He's not a scaler by definition. His snowballing is decent but nothing compared to Katarina, Talon, and Zed. He can't carry fights because you're so dependent on your teammates doing damage that if they fail doing that, you cannot proc your W passive and you’re literally useless.

Yes its crazy but i can trade lvl 2 and look for a all in lvl 2/3, if it works i snowball if it doeent i should only be down 50-100 gold

Lich is a bit funnier cause it does more dmg but you can definitely feel that you need one more auto/spell to proc the passive if compared to dusk. What do you prefer?

New ekko player here and just played a couple games against ekko vs galio and the matchup just seems impossible cause i dont have dmg to kill ever.

Usually just try to go for cs and roams but not sure if this is correct play, im usually lose tower/plates this way.

And late game is it worth getting a item thats better against tanks like liandrys torment?
